I ordered this set of tape measures out of frustration from not being able to locate the 2 or 3 tape measures that I knew I had SOMEWHERE. As soon as I placed the order, I found one of my old ones. But I didn’t care because this old one has a split blade and it’s really big and bulky and doesn’t stay attached to my pocket when I try to wear it.These new ones came and I love them. They are both smaller than the old ones I have. I find them easier to use. The numbers and fractional marks are easy to read, even without my reader glasses. They operate smoothly. My favorite is the 16′ one. It fits nicely in my hand. The blade will go out to about 7′ before it bends down. It retracts easily without scaring me. It has a lanyard to hang it by. And the belt clip grabs my pocket securely. The blade locking switch works easily and reliably.These are a great addition to your tool inventory. And you should also get a multi-pack of safety glasses so you can have them everywhere and no excuses for not using them.

Easy to use, accurate, affordable
Why did you pick this product vs others?:Chose this to replace a tape I broke. Love that there are 2 sizes, very affordable. I personally like the bright yellow so it’s easy to find when I set it down during a project. Measurements are accurate, they are lightweight but don’t feel cheap. The tape glides and retracts smoothly and the lock feature is solid.

These tape measures arrived quickly, expertly packed, undamaged, and as described. Durably manufactured and priced right these are a bargain that shouldn’t be passed up. Both units pull out and retract with ease ,unlike other brands that sometimes get stuck or refuse to completely retract after use. Concurrently both have a built in locking mechanism that keeps the ruler firmly in place, which makes life a lot easier, when working solo. So if your on the fence about this purchase, don’t delay. Unfortunately due to tariffs their price might double in the near future.

Great value for 2 tapes. Retracts very well. Locks and holds well too. But when extended more than 5ft, the tape is not sturdy/rigid enough to stay in place; the extended tape keeps falling off (when measuring vertically) or curling up (when measuring horizontally.
