An All-Around Winner in my book!
I have been using this bento box container since the first day of school, so about a month now. It claimed to be dishwasher safe so straight out of the packaging I threw it into the dishwasher and it proved true- no warping or issues since then. I was mostly worried about it fitting into my son’s lunch box since technically the box was slightly longer (about 1 inch) than the lunchbox’s length measurements. However, I was able to squeeze the container in with overall ease- no significant force used- since the lunch box was made of the soft insulated material and there was enough give. I’m able to zipper it with no issues or force. Next, I was so excited to see it fit an entire standard sized Portuguese roll in the sandwich portion, with that said a white top sliced bread sandwich has ample space. In the smaller containers I usually throw in fresh fruits and/or dry finger foods for snacks, ie pretezels, popcorn, oreos, strawberries, mandarins, grapes, baby tomatoes, etc. I would definitely approve the leak proof claim because some of those fresh fruits after rinsing can have some left over water/juices. My 10 year old has never complained of any leaking into other compartments or outside the container in general. He has been able to open the lid without any difficulty. The container itself has the perfect amount of depth that it can fit as much food as possible but without being overly bulking that it gives me a hard time closing the lunch box. In fact, I still have room to add more in the lunch box on top/below of the bento box (juice pouch, ice packs, additional ziplock bag. KEEP in mind the size of the lunch box you plan to use may give you varied results. Lastly can we talk about the price?! I got the 4 pack to start with since I was skeptical after finding so many options and ultimately settling on this one for its overall dimensions, compartment portions/sizes & customer reviews. I LOVED how inexpensive this was compared to the BENTGO brand boxes. Those containers were so expensive and didn’t have any additional room than this one. Actually, there was less room in their boxes, even LESS in the box that came with the option of a built in freezer pack insert. So I figured if I’m going to get a bento box that will require a separate ice pack anyways, I may as well pay for the cheaper, less flashy but equally (if not more) functional as the brand name. I sincerely have nothing bad to say about this product’s functionality. At most all I can say against it is that it does take up room in the dishwasher top rack but that isn’t even a dealbreaker since it can always be washed by hand effortlessly. It has been so easy to get lunch prepped in the AM, sometimes I even prep it the night before if I anticipate being strapped for time the following morning and just throw it in the fridge overnight! Ready to go! My favorite plus about this is that its 100% more environmentally friendly for such a minimal price. I no longer worry about buying enough plastic zip lock bags or whether I should waste ANOTHER snack/sandwich bag to pack my son’s food, especially once the bag gets dirty and then tossed. I feel this bento box is more convenient to use and reuse compared to those reusable sandwich/snack bags, speaking from my personal experience using both products.If you’re on the fence about getting this, I would definitely recommend this product!

I love these for my kids lunches as they got older I needed more room and these are a perfect size. I use them almost daily and they have held up nicely(I do hand wash). The lids seal great and I have never had any spills.

Very durable
I’ve been using these for 9 years and not a single one has cracked or otherwise failed. They have been through the dishwasher (including high-heat drying) a billion times. Yes, I don’t think this style can provide a waterproof seal on each section. I never put anything that wet inside.

These are great bento boxes at a great affordable price. We have a almost exact same sat by a different brand that came in a pack of six for around the same price that I prefer (only because they are easier for toddlers to open and close) but they don’t feel as good quality as these. I give my older two kids these ones as they are a bit harder to open but they also have a more secure fit to stay on in their lunch bag. Of course they aren’t leak proof but we use separate bento boxes when we need leak proof which isn’t often. These are perfect for most every day use as I have three in school and they all fit neatly in the dishwasher and come out perfectly clean and not warped. I even washed the lids on the lower rack on a heat dry and they have not warped or changed at all. My cheaper brand lids turned of milky colour but these have not they have stayed a nice translucent jewel colour. My favourite thing about them is that they are so light weight kids have enough stuff in their backpack when you add the lunch bag plus ice packs plus anything else they keep in their backpack like books. My kids would complain their backpacks are heavy when we would use leakproof more expensive bento boxes and these help to keep extra weight out.

Cuando los compré me parecieron muy sencillos, pero ahora que los uso diario para mandarle el lunch a mi hijo, veo que son muy útiles y duraderos, las divisiones facilitan la elección y cantidad de alimentos que se van a colocar en el contenedor. No le he enviado nada que tenga agua, ya que las mismas instrucciones del producto indica que no son anti derrames, sin embargo la comida se mantiene en su lugar y no se revuelve, además se abren con facilidad.

Kein Kleckern und total super zum Transportieren, ich habe mittlerweile für jedes Familienmitglied 1 Tasche mit den dazugehörigen Lunchboxen in Gebrauch und das schon seit ca. 1/2 Jahrich finde es toll mittags mein Essen zu haben schon unterteilt, gute Proportionen und auch unser Kleiner kann sich so easy ein Honigbrot mitnehmen und es gibt keine Patzereizudem bin ich froh ein günstiges “gutes” Plastikgeschirr gefunden zu habenKANN ICH NUR EMPFEHLEN – ABER EBEN NICHT ZUM EINFACH IRGENDWO HINEINGEBEN SONDERN MIT DER TASCHE ZUSAMMEN (ausserdem bleibt das Essen da schön warm/kalt)
