I got The Pal Company Breathing Pal to help my child with managing big feelings, and it has been great. The design is modern, and the size is very practical; it’s compact and easy for small hands to hold, and it weighs almost nothing.My child really enjoys using this. It functions perfectly and is exactly as described. The three guided breathing modes are helpful, especially the 4-7-8 for calming down. The color changing light cues are bright and cheerful, making the process of breathing easy and fun instead of a chore. It is very soothing and calming, and my child actually reaches for it when feeling overwhelmed.The overall quality is good. It’s made of soft, safe silicone, and it doubles as a squishy night light, which is a wonderful bonus for bedtime. The fact that it’s rechargeable is a huge convenience factor, and the long battery life means I don’t have to charge it constantly. The easy to use, one touch control is ideal for kids.For practicality, it’s great that it’s pocket sized and travel friendly. We can take it in a backpack, and it works well as a calm corner support tool. The included timer option is smart for setting practice times, and the automatic shut down gives me peace of mind. TLDR Version:✅ Soft and squishy✅ Lights up✅ Guides you through lighted breathing exercises✅ Helps ease strong emotions / anxiety✅ Super cute❌ A little priceyFull Review:This guided breathing exercise tool is perfect for kiddos (or even adults) who have trouble regulating their emotions or who struggle with anxiety / big feelings. My daughter is a highly sensitive person and also ADHD so she struggles with both big feelings and with being able to regulate those feelings. We prefer natural remedies, so this was a great option for her. She absolutely loves her “Kyle” light. The koala is super cute and soft. He is squishy and can be cuddled slightly (though the bottom is hard). He is the perfect size to fit in your hand and will guide you through breathing exercises to help your mind and spirit settle into a calm state. The koala light comes with a cord for charging (though no wall port) and clear instructions on how to utilize it. The instructions were clear and easy and my daughter (age 10) was able to read them and understand them. This would be a great gift for anyone who may need a little boost getting to a calm state of mind. The value for what you get is okay, though I feel like the price could be a bit lower for what you get. Overall though, we are super happy with this and would recommend it.

This Little Pal Taught Me How to Chill Out
I got this Kyle breathing pal mainly hoping it would help my kids settle down at night. It works really well just as a basic nightlight, but the breathing function is what makes it unique. It has three distinct modes intended for focus, relaxation, or general stress reduction. The way it works is intuitive: different colors flash to cue you: blue means inhale, purple is hold, and green is exhale. The brightness also gently moves with the breathing rhythm, which is actually quite effective.I appreciate how simple the operation is. There is only one main button to cycle through everything, and a long press controls the timer, letting you select between 30 and 60 minutes. The device uses a modern USB-C port for power, and the battery life seems extensive. The instructions mention a 20-hour lifespan when using the timer function, meaning I don’t need to recharge it frequently at all. It can also just stay plugged in if needed.I am genuinely interested to see the long-term effects on my children’s ability to focus or calm down before bed. Koala-shaped light/breathing pal
Kyle is adorable! He is shaped like a koala and has 3 different breathing settings and a night light feature. It is rechargeable with a C charger. Very soft rubber like outside. The kids like it as a night light amd as a guide for breathing mindfulness. No issues.

A Wonderful Little Helper for Calm and Focus!
I absolutely love this little breathing pal! I originally got it because I thought it would be a cute and calming addition for bedtime, but it’s turned out to be so much more than that. My 8-year-old has started grabbing this little “Kyle” anytime she feels herself getting anxious, upset, or on the verge of a tantrum. It’s been amazing to watch her take control of her emotions in such a positive, hands-on way.It’s super easy to use — there’s just one button that you can tap up to five times: the first three control the different breathing modes, the fourth turns on the nightlight, and the fifth turns it off. She likes choosing which breathing exercise she wants to do, and after a short cycle, she says she feels calmer and more in control.The light patterns are intuitive and soothing, gently guiding the breathing rhythm, and the soft, squishy design makes it extra comforting to hold or cuddle.
