Well worth it
Been using my brita for about 4 years since I moved to college! I wash it about once a month and replace the filters regularly (I usually use off brand filters it’s cheaper!). It’s holding up perfect! It is a bit small but I got in a habit of just refilling it daily. I like that it’s small because it fit in my dorm fridge easily. Now in my apartment I’m still using it and it doesn’t bother me to refill it daily.

Pitcher AND Filter is A+!
I’ve had this pitcher for 9 months now & it still works wonderfully! The Brita filter lasted 7-8 months for one person using average 1 & 1/2 a day (I know, I should be drinking more). The color indicator never seemed to turn yellow, but the green seemed to flash slower, then one day it was flashing red – and there was a difference in taste. So maybe be ready with another filter instead of waiting to buy one until you see the yellow. I did buy a knockoff brand filter replacement & there’s enough of a difference in taste (& most likely longevity) that I am DEFINITELY staying with the BRITA brand filter from now on.FYI – the Brita filter did need to be ‘burped’ about 3 times toward the beginning (water was not percolating through, so I just ran my finger across the top of the filter to get it going) – & now that I’ve had the lower quality knockoff that has not needed burping, I consider that a GOOD quality instead of bad. Also, I’m glad I waited this long to give a review because in the beginning, I was wondering how the plastic was going to hold up & it has! The hard plastic ‘felt’ like it would be more brittle, so I tried to be careful not to bang it pulling it out of the fridge etc. But it HAS happened enough times & I’ve inspected it, for me to realize that it’s durable! I also noticed that it’s AIRTIGHT – not sure if that’s the word for it – but it never produced any little mold spots INSIDE the pitcher! When I did see one or two, they formed at the very top edge where tap water droplets strayed while filling it. When I noticed that, I learned from my lesson & made sure to have the pitcher open & ready to be filled directly instead of allowing any stray water droplets to happen. As per instructions, I also don’t leave the flip top open while it’s percolating. I close it then open again to fill to fill line (the little protrusion) a 2nd time. I’ve also noticed to be careful not to touch the pour spout on anything since tiny mold spots can occur there. Otherwise, I’ve left it in the fridge without the need to clean it out (no signs or smells of bacteria inside) all those months. There is ONE thing that I would like for them to change in the design, but it’s not bad enough to take off a star. The flip top, although it opens easily, also CLOSES too easily. I flip it with my thumb while holding the handle, but then when I barely move my thumb it hits it closed again. I hate when that happens because then the tap water splashes across the top between the pitcher & filter top or the spout to potentially produce tiny mold spots. I have to constantly remind myself to be careful flipping the top & totally take my hands away & have the tap placed squarely over the open area before turning on the water. There’s enough room between faucet & pitcher that I can flip it closed again right away for it to percolate. I LOVE that the percolating process doesn’t take too long either! Although it does percolate faster with the knockoff filter – another sign the knockoff doesn’t work as well.

Very good product
The quality and size of this product are excellent for the price I paid. I would greatly recommend this to anyone. I purchased this pitcher to replace the gallons of water I was buying from the store. We drink a lot of water daily and I feel it was a good investment for our family to purchase this product. It fit our needs perfectly and I would buy it again if necessary.

Easy but not for daily use
My family loves to use this since we don’t have a fridge with a water dispenser. Makes the water taste better but someone said it doesn’t filter out all the bad chemicals from tap water unfortunately I stopped using it but it’s great for emergencies and easy to use when I run out of bottled water.

Amazing product, great custómer service through Amazon.
Arrived with a small, almost invisible crack on bottom and side that we missed. Pitcher emptied itself flooding refrigerator. Requested return and replacement, and new pitcher was on our doorstep the next morning. Dropped off replacement at UPS. Fuss-free and free. Replacement pitcher has completely changed the taste of our tap water, my coffee, cóokiñg. Love our Brita pitcher. Cudos on GREAT customer service. I highly recommend this purchase to those who are considering it.

Great substitute!
Not having to buy bottled water anymore is a real relief, even though nothing on the market is perfect. In my view, this filter is the best substitute for bottled water, offering a surprisingly good taste. I tested the water, and it effectively reduces or removes most contaminants, making it a reliable choice.

Does one job, and does it well.
Brita has the largest name in the space for a reason… I have been using different models of essentially this same product for years, but this one is sleek and simplified. Some of them over the years – they change things they don’t need to, but this one they got it right. My gf drinks nothing but water all day, and normally the filters don’t seem to last as long but in this they do… The water tastes great, and I have test strips that I check the quality before and after. Like I said, it has one job, and it does it.

Great for many uses!
I have been using Britta filters for 30 years and have never been disappointed in one. They are great for drinking water, making tea, watering orchids, etc. This was a great price during Prime Days. This size is good for a one or two person household.

had it for 2 weeks now and would say it’s done a pretty great job! It’s definitely better than having water bottles thrown out every time.

Solid, dependable product. Purchased as a gift for my parents and is getting lots of use. I love knowing that the chlorine in their drinking water (they are on town water) is being greatly lessened by their Brita.

This Brita pitcher is the perfect size for daily use and fits well in the fridge. The Smart Light indicator is a great feature that reminds you when to change the filter, and it really improves the taste of tap water by reducing chlorine. Simple, reliable, and effective.
