Let’s face it – tap water in an apartment, dorm, rental, etc. I don’t tend to trust it. I felt much better having this and being able to have cold water on hand without all the plastic waste from water bottle packs. Seems to do its job well.

This is one of the products where it pays to spend a bit extra to get quality. I reviewed an off brand positively, but then had to throw them out because the water wasn’t filtering completely. I’ve learned my lesson and will stick to Brita from now on.

Persistence and patience are the key of sucess
At last after 2 returns and endless hours spent on the phone, I received today the right genuine original items. Amazon picked up the wrong ones at their expense and accept to compensate me for my time on the phone dealing with that discrepancy. The issue was the wrong description on the item online. The word ‘compatible’ was missing and therefore I got both packages without Brita printed on the package as well as on the individual filters. You are kindly request to be careful reading the description and even if you receive the wrong items, do not hesitate to return and and and demand some $ compensation. No pain, no gain!

I like this product. I use it to filter city water, and find it tastes better after filtering. I use the filtered water to make ice cubes, they’re crystal clear, and no ‘off’ taste.I wish it had a color-change feature that reminds you when to change it- instead there’s a sticker in the box, which is hard to see and to write on when it’s on the front of the water container.I also wish there was a way to recycle the used filter, which I continue to look for.It works great to filter the water. Recommend.

Good so Far. I am a bit concerned about the plastic used for the container. I see if cracking easily. This is my first Brita product. I was surprised how quickly the filteration was. In terms of water taste. I liked it from the first, so I does everything I had hoped for thus far.
