I purchased four sets (twelve 10-pound weights and four 2.5-pound weights).The 10-pound weights were excellent. The 2.5-pound weights had minor dings in a few spots, but that doesn’t matter to me. FYI just in case that might bother you.The weights are beautiful. I have an upstairs set and a downstairs set on 48-inch Super Curl Olympic Barbells. They are so enticing that I sometimes punch out a few reps when I walk past them because they look good.Excellent price. Excellent packaging. I will buy more.

No complaints on these plates
These plates are really great but I will say to keep in mind the size of your bar because the hole is large. I had to put stoppers on both sides to keep them from flopping around. There’s no smell, they’re smooth feeling, heavy(ha), no complaints as they’re plates as they are supposed to be. I have also used them to lift individually and they have easy handles for that. They can grip easily. I’d say they’re pretty durable and just as described

I purchased a set of four 5 lb plates and two 10 lb plates to supplement my current collection, which starts at 20 lbs. These smaller plates are perfect for making gradual progress, especially when heavier jumps aren’t doable for me.While weight plates are a fairly straightforward product, I was impressed enough to leave a review because of the excellent packaging. Each plate was individually sealed in plastic, separated by foam sheets to prevent any scuffing between the plates, and cushioned on all corners with thick foam blocks. The entire set was double boxed and tightly secured with straps. Good quality and attention to detail in packaging!The plates themselves look great—clean, evenly coated, and well finished. And considering how pricey weight plates can be, I found the pricing to be very reasonable.I’ll definitely return to CAP Barbell for future weight purchases as my training progresses.

Loose, poor QC, but you get your $ worth
You get what you pay for, I wanted “weight is weight” for my loadable dumbbells, I almost bought the good version, but for now, I thought this is fine. At just over $1/lb with tax, they are cheap, not just price, but quality. They come in and there are sharp edges to cut your fingers on the opening in the center and very uneven metal work as well. But 15-20 minutes with the Dremel sander and I have relatively smooth edges to slide onto my dumbbell sleeves without completely destroying them, but they’re also quite loose on a 2” dumbbell handle. I haven’t weighed them, but I will have gotten what I paid for, I decided to Spend $40, not $150-220 for these 40lbs. They were a bit worse than I expected, even with the reviews, but for now, it’s fine, they may end up as just weight just adding a big more security to racks or machines, but for now, I needed some weight.They’re great for what they are, be prepared to cut yourself mar your barbell or dumbbell, or do some sanding when they come, but there was no way this would’ve taken 2 hours as another reviewer said.

Great value and well made
First, let me say that I bought two each 25 pound plates on a black Friday deal for about $22 each.Pros- Great grip holes to use with out a bar.- We’ll coated for durability to prevent rusting or chipping.- Both plates are uniformly made and fit well on my 2 inch bars. There is a little wiggle room, but forgivable.- Packaging was outstanding. Individually boxed and wrapped. Also wrapped in plastic and a double cardboard box. The plates were securely in place with heavy dense foam and securely taped.Cons- There are some small “burs” on the outside edges that I had to file down (2).. If you’re wearing gloves, you likely won’t notice.- Slightly heavier than 25 pounds each. On my digital scale they came in at 25.57 pounds. Not major.Common sense dictates that if you drop these on concrete, they’re going to scratch and chip away at the coating.Intentional pun… While the pros heavily outweigh the cons, these are a great purchase and I would buy again.Easily a five star review for the price.
