    Sturdy
This is awesome. Since the pandemic I have slowly been building an at home gym. I missed being able to use barbells so I got this. I love it. It wasn’t too bad to put together and is easily adjustable. It fits in my basement which has a drop ceiling. That was a big concern of mine. I don’t lift super heavy, but have had zero issues with the 100ish pounds I rack. My daughter uses the pull up bar all the time for Ninja class training.

    Not a bad rack
Package came destroyed as everyone already noted, but a 150 pound box gets damaged. The package also came 3 days early, so that’s a huge plus.Easy to set up, I did it alone in close to two hours. No missing or broken pieces. I did have one extra washer, and note that hardware to mount to the floor is not included but manufacturer recommends 3” concrete anchors.Did a few pull-ups and squats and the rack works great. The area from the front to back of the frame where you would perform squats is awkwardly small. Much smaller than a commercial rack but this will do the trick. The colored pieces are horrible, the paint is so thin and easy to chip. It would have been better to not paint at all, so prepare for your bar to eat the paint. The hooks for the bar and the safety are the same side pieces meaning the cross bar to keep them on the frame are both on the right sides so it looks weird. Also, other j hooks would be better, for 30 or so dollars I may order new ones. All in all the rack is well worth $250. I will be testing it this week and will update this review if need be.Update: after a week of usage, and not light soft usage either, paint chips super easy. J cups, or whatever these red pegs are, definitely need replacement. Haven’t tested the safety bars nor do I hope to. I would buy new j cups. Paint on rack and frame chip easy form normal bar racking and shifting (freshly knurled barbell). Rack is shallloooowww for squats, go back too far and you’ll hit the cage. Pull ups feel ok, sort of wobbly. Still worth it on a budget, if I didn’t buy this during a pandemic I would have opted for a more reputable brand and definitely not 2×2 steel, probably 3×3. Not many 2×2 attachments made for this cage.

Shipped to Hawaii! Wooohooo! Amazing price
I’ve been waiting years, browsing amazon adding various brands of power racks (those with amazon prime eligigble and without…) All of them weren’t able to ship to Hawaii it made me sad. Other semi isolated places have this problem as well im sure. I even tried adding this power rack to my cart and checkout before a few months ago but it wouldn’t ship either so Amazon or the carrier must have gotten a new policy recently which is good for me :).This arrived via FedEx for me and I had to help the driver carry it to my doorstep it weighs about 105lbs+ or so I got one end and he got the other. Afterwards I opened the box and started taking one piece at a time inside. I noticed several of the pieces of the washers/nuts/screws had fallen out of their cardboard attachment and were loose inside the box. Thankfully all the pieces were accounted for!I assembled this by myself it took about 1hr 45minutes I got a tad bit excited and put the bottom half on backwards so I had to untighten bolts and fix that while trying to balance the uprights it was a interesting experience to say the least lol. As I got to the top back upright I noticed it was bent inward a bit which made it impossible for it to slide into place. I’m not sure if it was due to handling or just having the other items pressed on it inside the package but I had to get a hammer and manually pry it back into proper place a pit. It was a random idea and I’m glad it actually worked otherwise I would have been sad. The bench I have works good enough for flat and slightly incline but full verticle I dont think will work safely because the bench hits the back of the bottom rack unable to go in any further. Those issues are why I have to take one star off.The barbell uprights that hold the bar are alright but I might get J-hooks in the future. The paint is easily chipped and just testing some squats and bench press with just the bar made the paint chip off. No biggie but something to note. Also when putting in the safety rods at different levels its a tight fit and the holes are sharp causing red paint shavings to form at the edge of the holes. Easily wiped up but another thing to note.I also purchased *Fitness Reality Extended 9″ Olympic Weight Plate Holder for 2″x2″ Tube Power Cage * to put on the bottom of this cage to give it stability and also get my plates off the ground. I have 82.5lbs on each side for now will buy two 45lbs in the future. It fit snug and works fine for the intended purpose.I haven’t tested any heavy loads yet but the most I have is 210lbs I feel this will hold that fine. The pull up bar is solid I did several to test and the cage wobbles a bit but that is just by design even with the plate holders on it wobbled slighty if i kipped during my chin/pull ups. Also did a few hanging leg raises all good.Overall, I’m happy with my purchase I can deal with the minor cosmetic issues and hammering a piece into place. I’ve been searching and waiting for years trying to get a power rack shipped to Big Island Hawaii and I was almost going to buy one from walmarts website that was a half cage for $360+ until I found this deal for hawaii $240+ $40 shipping with prime eligible. Easily best deal on the internet for me.Thank you very much!

    Seems Great
I bought this cage because my basement gym has a low ceiling. I bought the 6ft option. It was easy to put together. I only needed assistance in the very beginning to make sure the posts didn’t fall before the first crossmember was bolted in.The instructions are garbage. There are two types of bolts used for the construction of the piece. (70mm & 65MM). The instructions do not indicate which bolt to use. I sort of winged it to the best of my ability (using the longer bolt where it seemed a longer bolt would fare better.(insider tip – use a 6mm Allen in an impact driver to speed things along). There were a lot of metal shavings that came out of the tubing that sullied my pristine gym floor, which was annoying, but now that it’s together, they won’t come out anymore. The rear stability bar could have been better placed as it will likely force me to do incline on the front uprights. These issues are totally minor. This is a very stable rack that exceeds my expectations.

Good beginner rack overall. It’s not the sturdiest, but it does the job.

This power rack has been holding up quite well since getting it.Not too difficult to assemble. Easy to move around once assembled.Only issue I have with the unit, is the painted stop bars. Whenever you remove and replace the stops in another hole, the paint scrapes off. Better to have left them unpainted.Only other issue that comes to mind, but it’s with the company line, is that I’m not finding other things that can be added to this rack. Dip bars, Pulldown assembly, etc. But, for the price Amazon sends it to you for, I can do without those things.
