Is the Concept2 RowErg the same as the Model D Indoor Rower or the Model E Indoor Rower?
The RowErg with standard legs has a seat height of 14 inches/36 cm and is the same as the Model D Indoor Rower. The only difference is the new name and machine graphics.
Why might the RowErg with tall legs be right for me?
Places such as gyms or health clubs might prefer their users to be seated at a similar height to users on other equipment, making the RowErg more visible.
Why do you now call it the RowErg?
The new name RowErg aligns better with our other two ergometers, All of our exercise machines are technically ergometers, or “ergs” for short, because they actually measure the work that you are doing.
Is the RowErg available in gray?
No. Both height options of the RowErg are available only in black.
Can I put the taller legs on my RowErg?
Yes, the tall legs are available as a retrofit option for the RowErg as well as for the Model C and D Indoor Rowers.

Great total body workout!
This rower has been a great addition to our home gym. We previously had a rower with a nylon strap like pulley and didn’t feel like we were getting a good workout. When we got rid of that one and decided to start looking for a better option, we came across this one. While our treadmill and bike have iFit programs and we wanted to have that on the rower as well, we also wanted one that works well independent of a program and is sturdy. I love my iFit programs, but sometimes waiting for them to download updates and having a system that requires a power connection and wifi limit whether you can workout or not.This rower has a cable pulley and is very sturdy, providing a great total body workout. The bracket attachment to hold a phone or tablet still allows me to follow along with an iFit workout if I choose to. We appreciate the fact that even without power, we can hop on and get a good workout in with no start up lag time at all. It’s literally go time as soon as you sit down!

Excellent Product and Easy to Assemble
The fit and finish of this rowing machine is excellent. I was surprised by tbe low weight considering the stuffiness of construction. Arrived on time and in perfect condition. Assembling the two legs with 4 screws by myself challenged my dexterity, but I managed. It took a couple of tries to get the two halves of the machine connected because the instructions weren’t very clear, but it connected perfectly and I was able to use the machine immediately. I’ve used these machines in the gym and love them. Excellent value for the price. Purchase through Amazon was painless and gave me confidence that I’d have no issues.

Satisfied but are the rope and chain adjustable?
Machine was recommended by a friend as a replacement for running. I received it promptly and assembled it….some people may need two people to assemble. It has worked very well. Since I am 6’2″, I wonder if the chain and the pull rope lengths are adjustable. I can deal with the lengths as they are…. but I just wondered. I am still getting the techniques perfected….but I am satisfied with this as a replacement for running.

Perfect Rower
I was originally going to purchase a fancier rower with a big simulated screen but after reading reviews for about a year, I took a gamble on this machine, I figured it must be extremely sturdy if it can handle up to 500 lbs.! It arrived in about 3 days & even being a petite woman, I was able to get it into the house unassisted. I was shocked at how well packaged & shipped this item was, not a scratch or blemish on the rower. I decided to try & assemble the unit & was elated at how easy it was to put together, 8 screws, yes 8 screws! This rower is of pure quality, the chain action is smooth as butter, the seat seamlessly glides on the sturdy rail & it’s quiet, purrs like a kitten with an easy to change intensity lever. The monitor isn’t much to brag about but it is efficient. Mine has a place to hold my ipad & cell phone securely which is nice. I have shoulder problems & I think this machine has felt better, less irritation, than rowers I’ve used in the past. I’m sure glad I purchased this rowing machine, it was well worth the year of pondering.

Just turned 60 decided to get a rowing machine after foot surgery. It was easy to learn how to use and helped to me start getting back in shape. My husband was able to set it up in under 30 minutes. It is sturdy and well build. Very pleased and would highly recommend.

Great row machine
This was super easy to assemble. Total of 8 screws to attach the legs and then click in the long seat slide to the rest of the machine and that was it. I haven’t had this machine for very long so I can’t really speak on the workouts. That being said what I have done on it produced a very smooth and enjoyable workout. I prefer to watch my iPad either to follow a workout or to watch something while working out. The section of the machine made to hold an iPad/phone is lacking. Maybe it’s only supposed to hold a phone but it really doesn’t hold anything. I have to lean my phone/iPad and hope I don’t move the machine with my workout and knock the device off. So far I have not. I wish that part was better especially for the amount of money you spend on this machine but that aside this is an overall great row machine!
