Outstanding Humidifier – Along with Some Suggestions
Some helpful hints I found have helped to keep this humidifier working.First, make sure the tape and Styrofoam block are removed from the product.Second, when filling the tank, make sure that room temp water is added, especially the for the first time. Hot water may damage the seal.Third, do not fill water above the MAX level. The extra weight may cause leaks in the seal.Fourth, all small humidifiers like this will get bacteria/mold if not cleaned every 2-3 days. It is the nature of having water heating up for days without cleaning. If you don’t like cleaning it every three days, understand that there will be mold/bacteria inside the base’s small tank. It’s just that simple. Cleaning is easy, but it takes some time to thoroughly clean the unit…. and fifth, make sure NO water gets in the part that looks like a tower on the base’s smaller tank. A small amount will flood the air intake and the electronics’ board. This will mess up the controls. If it does happen, use a blow dryer on low to try and dry the board at the base of the unit. Otherwise, a couple of days should dry it out. If it isn’t severely flooded, it may still work.Also, NEVER put anything but water in the tank when in use. Vicks, scented oils, or anything else will wreck this humidifier. The only thing I use in the tank is white vinegar to clean and descale it, but after that kind of cleaning, I rinse it out thoroughly and then dry it completely. Keep in mind, tap water is not the best water to use (lots of minerals) which is why white dust from this humidifier can go everywhere in the home and stick to the inside areas of the humidifier. Best to use distilled water or at least buy a demineralizing cartridge if using tap water (they last 4-6 months). Hope these helpful hint work for your humidifier. Took a lot of trial and error beforehand, but once I used this information, there hasn’t been an issue yet with my Dreo humidifier or any of my previous humidifiers.Best of luckUPDATE: I started to have some issues with dust just like what others have be experiencing. I contacted Dreo by email and customer rep, Carol Hesung, was able to help resolve the problem. While suggesting that distilled water is the best way to combat the dust, I mentioned it wouldn’t work out for me due to the high cost of distilled water per month. Carol understood and offered a complete refund for this unit and for the larger unit I purchased. Not only that, the demineralizing cartridge filter (3-pack) I bought was also refunded. Carol said there was no need to return any of these products. Not only was I pleasantly surprised with this outcome, it proved to me that Dreo is all about making it right for the customer if problems arise. With the actions Dreo has made, I will definitely recommend them and make future purchases from this company. Their customer service has been stellar and I wish other businesses would follow their lead. The Dreo team puts customers first and that is one of their best services offered. Thank you Dreo and thank you Carol.I was able to set the Dreo up quickly and finally get some moister back into my room. So far, this is product is working very well. It is super quiet, compact and easy to take apart, clean and put back together. There are many easily operated controls for such a small unit. 4L is quite small for my living room, but for a small bedroom, this will do the trick. I am pleased with the looks, the style, the easy operation, the light system, but most of all the steam output and the way you can direct the steam is an added bonus. If this can last as long as my old humidifier of 9 years, then I will be that loyal customer only to Dreo for sure. It really is a good humidifier even for its smaller footprint. Definitely recommend.

Comfortable, quiet, perfect!
Easy to use, easy to clean, quiet and doubles as a night light! I absolutely love it. Helps me not cough so much at night from the dry mouth/throat. Sleep quality has improved with use of the humidifier! The most output has three settings too, and the size is good for my bedside table. All in all a good purchase! 10/10! 👍👍👍

I was surprised at how well this humidifier works. It spews out a wide stream of fine mist even on the low setting. It’s very well-made, easy to fill, easy to take apart and clean – although I’ve only had mine for about a week or so – so no cleaning as yet needed. It’s very stylish! one thing that you should know is it’s recommended to set the humidifier about 2 feet above the floor and a foot from a wall I think that’s to both avoid condensation on surfaces and to optimize the dispersal in a room. I put my unit on a metal chair in a niche of the bedroom and it really works well. it’s a great product for the money. I don’t think it can be beat.

Perfectly Sized Humidifier for Senior Living Apartment
Two thumbs up for use in a senior living facility. It’s quite easy to set up and use, holds sufficient water (use distilled water!) to not need constant refills, and yet is of a size that doesn’t overwhelm a senior living apartment. It works quite well and is sufficiently quiet to not annoy the resident while reading or watching TV. Nice equipment to help seniors avoid the nose bleeds and itchy skin that’s brought about by typically dry environments.

•Easy to clean•It looks stunning•Night light is really cute•She does her job well, my room used to lay on 25% ish humidity, now it always ALWAYS lays on a steady 40%, and I only run it for 8 hours per day. When shes on the humidity lays on 70%No real complains.

It was working fine but after using it 3 nights, it stopped working. The water tank is full and it won’t work and I cleaned it etc. Nothing.

Je l adore . J utilise de l eau déminéralisée pour ne pas abîmer le plastique . On sait régler l orientation au dessus pour l envoie de l humidité dans la direction souhaitée . L appareil ne fait aucun bruit . On peut le mettre en mode nuit : il n y a pas de bruit qui nous empêcherait de dormir ! Je le recommande. J ai trouvé derrière l appareil : un compartiment où on peut mettre qq goutte d huile essentielle dedans ( voir photo ) : comme ça on ne doit pas mettre l huile directement en contact avec l eau . La diffusion de l huile se fait sentir malgré tout . Il y a 2 autres tampons de remplacement dans la boîte pour d autres odeurs et une petite brosse pour le nettoyage de l appareil.Cette appareil est top et m a permit de moins tousser quand j avais la gorge très sèche .Je vous le recommande vivement
