Note that the openings ( holes) on this filter are each 1 inch in diameter. My whole house filter requires a 1.25 inch diameter on one end and 1 inch diameter on the other end. I am sending these filters back to Amazon. I couldn’t find the specs on these filters before I ordered them.

Good replacement
I have high tannins and hard water so I wanted a good filter before my softener. These are a great option for the price and they do fit like the name brand I was buying before. Work great as far as I can tell! Scent is gone from my water too.

Hard water build up
We have them on auto ship! They work better at eliminating hard water build up we have better than other filters we’ve used. We are a family of 7 with 3 teen being teen boys that work and play sports so they shower a LOT! Highly recommend!

Perfect for the whole house filter
I have bought at least 40 of those filters – they are very inexpensive but very effective to filtering out even the smallest particles from our water. I use it for the whole house filter and it’s perfect – you just need to change it more often.

I bought this filter housing specifically for under sink installation. It’s a little on the large side and takes quite a bit of real estate especially in a packed under sink storage but I wanted something that’ll take a standard 10-inch filter and have a variety of filter brand options. Installation is straight forward but can be challenging in tight spaces. Once mounted it’s quite stable since the bracket is built-it.Highlights:>Excellent build quality>Built-In mounting bracket>Uses standard 10-inch cartridge from any brand>Universal fit and can be mounted virtually anywhere>Pressure relief valve for ease of cartridge replacement>Pressure rated from 30 psi min – 100 psi max>Water temperature from 40°F min – 120°F maxWe’ve had it a little over a year now with a Brita cartridge and so far, have had no issues with it. We never had any plastic or chemical taste when new either. One thing to note for this particular housing is the ports are 3/4 in. FIP. I had to use two 3/4 in. MIP x 1/4 in. FIP reducer brass fittings to make it work on a sink mounted water filtration faucet.

Es un buen producto en relación costo beneficio. Se alcanza percibir algunas diferencias de materiales entre este producto y algunos de marca como lo pueden ser rotoplast. La calidad de estos filtros es buena para cumplir su cometido aunque se percibe ligeramente mas porosa que la marca mencionada anteriormente.

I’ve used different filters over the years but this one has been the most efficient to get clean, clear water with a neutral taste. Our water source usually has a very ferrous taste and this carbon filter took away most of it. One filter at the intake and one at the faucet does the trick. Don’t know how long this will be efficient but so far so good.
