    Great product AND Customer Service
This is a really great product. It is well built, super easy to assemble in particular due to great instructions and really amazing organization and identification of the bolts, etc. It came with one small piece missing. Nothing that stopped me from putting it together…simply a rubber pad for the safety bar. I contacted the company via the included QR code they gave that automated the process. They responded quickly and sent a replacement pad and even a small gift card for choosing to use my own glue to glue it rather than send me some glue from Amazon. I truly love the whole experience. The rack is super solid and for the price close to a gym quality unit. Couldn’t be happier.

    To Good To Pass Up…
Let me break a couple of things down real quick..I work for a living, sometimes 6-7 nights a week. I am pushing 50, but want to get back into shape. The government as we know takes most of our money, so I am pretty tight with what I get. I shopped around when looking for a squate rack. Even stooped so low as to browse the high priced, used trash on Facebook Marketplace.I shop a lot on Amazon, it’s convenient due to my work schedule. So after looking around, I finally settled on this Fitness Reality squat rack and lat attachment set up. It took awhile to get here as it was being shipped by UPS for some reason, and in seperate packages due on seperate dates. UPS if you don’t know, doesn’t generally use careful hands when it comes to packages, and is not timely at all. So while spending a few days peeking out the windows like a package thief, I finally caught the deliveries securely.Alright the fun part. When I was a kid I use to rip open packages and toss the instructions to the wind. Not so these days. A word of advice, keep a couple of trash bags handy when unpacking the parts, as Fitness Reality goes out of the way to carefully package parts. I examined all parts, gathered up tools and set everything out for an easy assemble. Pretty much everything you need to will come with the kit, but there are easier ways, such as using an impact wrench, socket/wrech set, and make sure you have a utility knife to get through the packaging.I started out putting together the squat rack, NOT overly tightening anything. I kept EVERYTHING finger tight until even the lat attachment was finally assembled…just made things easier to fit. Then, I did a couple final shakes of the units while jumping around doing the final tightenings. The squat rack went together quick and flawless, instructions were not needed, but were included. It was a cake walk job from just looking at the diagram. The lat attachment however, lol…I had a couple of issues. For some reason I decided to use the instructions. Don’t do that unless you need to. It was a mess, steps jumped ahead of themselves, parts stepped ahead of themselves, bolts seemed mislabled, etc…My best advice, lay your pieces out, make sure they are all there. Browse the instructions to see where the parts are located on the unit, then just jump in and toss it together. Again, I can not stress this enough…hand tighten ONLY until completed. If you do it that way, you should have zero problems. For my purchases, I have zero complaints. I have seen reviews and Youtube videos where people say chipped paint, or rust, missing parts, etc…All of my stuff was there, packaged great and with care from Fitness Reality. The price was extremely great and resonable, especially for what all this kit can do. Just know that if you are having them delivered by UPS, keep a close eye out, as the delivery dates they give do NOT match…EVER. UPS will leave your stuff exposed outside for all to see and in any kind of weather. They do NOT use kid gloves with your purchases either. And, for whatever reason, they are not requiring a signature for packages…just a dump and go. This is why I prefer Amazon, the delivery drivers generally follow my instructions and place packages on my enclosed deck, out of sight and weather. So yea, hope you enjoyed my ramblings. I’m blue collar, look for deals, and am NOT a paid representative of Fitness Reality or Amazon. If you have any questions about this product I will be glad to answer. I will further note that the lat pulldown system has 1″ inch plate holders, so I bought seperate 2″ slides that go right over them to accomodate my 2″ plates. I also didn’t feel comfortable with the 2 small safety bars and ordered larger ones…but that’s because I turn into a beast when tossing around weights, it has nothing to do with the actual small safety bars. I fully reccommend this product from this company and in no way, shape, or form regret making these purchases. Good lift to you all!!!

    Quality without breaking the bank
Can’t beat the quality for the price. The cables have a very smooth action and allow for a variety of exercises that weren’t possible with my previous power cage. Assembly took around 3–4 hours. To ensure you’re not there all day tightening bolts, you may want to invest in a drill with a socket attachment. The nice part is that, for as durable as the power rack is, it’s not extremely heavy—so as long as you haven’t loaded it with weight plates, you can move it fairly easily as needed. Also, their customer service is excellent: one of the cables was damaged in transit, and immediately upon notifying them of the issue, they sent out a replacement part.

Very decent for the price, but only if you can’t afford better
I struggled with giving this 4 or 5 stars. I really regret not getting a different cage that was more sturdy, larger, and had the option for a lat pulldown. But I was being cheap on the one piece of equipment I should not have been cheap about. Anyhow for the price you absolutely cannot beat this cage. It’s good quality, but does have many trade offs for price. If you really can’t spend the money, and aren’t a heavy lifter then I can recommend this all day long.My negatives, which aren’t really huge negatives: The cage does move around a fair bit. If you like to rack your weights aggressively, like I do, then be prepared for a second where you wonder if the cage is going to tip backwards, or flop side to side. Honestly it’s not going to flip, it has those back legs that would keep it from that, but it still feels a bit flimsy when racking weight. But just having the weight sitting on the cage is very sturdy and unracking it is not an issue. I’m also not a fan of the matte powdercoating they are using, it really scratches way too easily. I’m comparing this to commercial gym units where I can throw an Olympic bar at the cage and you won;’t see the slightest scratch, but of course that’s comparing $10k versus what this costs so it’s an unfair comparison. Still, I would have paid just a bit more for better powdercoating.I also wasn’t overly fond of the pull up bars. I have only 80″ ceilings in my basement so I had to hang them upside down. Yeah it’s possible this contribute slightly to the flimsiness. I can do pullups with no issues, but have to bend my legs up. Once again not a big deal for the price. The only true negatives are the weight holders, they are very bad. They will totally ruin the knurling on your bar as they are metal to metal. They also come loose if you laterally translate the bar even just a little, very scary and dangerous. The first thing you should replace is these, with some nice rubber coated J-hooks. I also added some Titan plate holders.Last negative is it’s unable to accommodate a lat pulldown. This isn’t an issue with how it was advertised as I knew this when I purchased it. But it wouldn’t have been difficult to engineer an addon lat pulldown for this. But I’m sure they would prefer you buy their higher end cage, which I can’t blame them.Anyhow overall it’s very positive and a nice cage if you are on a budget. But if you have the money and the room don’t be cheap and look at other options.

Not much to say about this cage that hasn’t already been said. The good:-It’s cheap, sturdy enough, easy to assemble, well designed, and most 2×2 squat rack accessories will work in it.-I’m 6’4″ and have room to spare overhead, as well as no issue getting the J-cups to my height for squats.-Fit and finish are beyond what you’d expect for that price point (350CAD) since the price has stabilized to something normal. I can’t even DIY one for that much with current steel prices.-Safeties are solid steel rods, and GarageGymReviews on youtube has proven that they will save your bacon at weights the mere mortal isn’t likely to attempt.-Packaging is on point. The outer box seems to have been manhandled, but the inside of the box was reinforced and everything nicely padded and individually wrapped, with reinforcement on the packaging in key areas.-Shipping was ahead of scheduleThe not-so-good:-The rack is a little narrow for me to bench press in, and could use a slightly wider base.-Being flat footed design, you need a flat floor. Most basement concrete floors are not quite flat enought and will require some attention otherwise the rack may be a little tippy.-There is no way from factory to bolt the rack to the floor, though if you have a drill you could modify it.-The included cups are shoddy, and you’re better off buying a set from a different company altogether. It’s not a Rogue rack, or even a Titan. But it’s affordable, uses standard 2×2 accessories, and most of all, it’s safe.

I’m a tall guy and can’t squat inside the cage and with pull ups have to hold legs up or back, it’s sturdy enough even though the whole cage does wobble a bit. For £400 it’s a bit expensive but it’s needed and it does do the job for a good home workout, I will add that the pull up bar is very smooth and not much grip on there, if you leave outside it will rust pretty quick just FYI. Easy to assemble about an hour with 2 people. For bench my hands go wider then the width of the frame which is a little inconvenient but overall I’m happy with the product and it does exactly what I need it to so I would recommend.

This is my first rack. I have been using this rack for a few weeks now. I am 6’1 and I am able to do chin ups in, though sometimes my feet hit the floor, either way it still usable. I can also squat and bench inside the rack without any issues. Sometimes its a little difficult doing lunge style squats inside the rack, I have attached safety arms to the outside of the rack to perform them in front of the rack. My only complaint about the chin up bars is that its smooth metal, light gnarling would have been nice for some grip. I worked around this by wrapping hockey tape around the bars for the chin up part, works perfectly. I do weighted chin ups and it feels sturdy to me. My only other complaint about it is that it has no way to secure to the floor. I worked around this by putting “all-round” over the feet and screwing into the floor (able to do so where I have it). This keeps it from tipping and sliding when doing dips off of the dip attachment i bought, and also when doing any band work where I am standing out from the rack. You can also use 6′ barbells with this rack if you are limited on space like me. The collars will be really close to the safeties which can be annoying but they will sit safely outside the J hooks and safety pins. I probably wont be able to push the limits of this for a while, I am only ~160 lbs and only bench ~165 lbs and squat ~170 lbs though I feel like this rack can handle heavier loads (it’s tubular steel). I bought some additional j hooks and safety arms for the outside. The option for attaching a lat pull down machine is a bonus (if it ever comes back in stock); however I was able to build my own upper and lower cable system off of the rack. I built it a few weeks ago, I have only checked the bolts once and all were still as tight as they were when I put it together. Assembly was pretty straight forward, I was able to do it by myself without any issues. The fact that it uses 1″ holes means there are A LOT of compatible attachments.
