Firm, Functional For a Decent Price for my Treadmill!
I purchased a BalanceFrom Fitness 3′ x 6.5′ High Density Gym Equipment Mat after I purchased a treadmill – with my carpeting the treadmill was moving while I was on it and it was dangerous so I bought this mat. I’ve had it for over a year now which is why I have rated so long to give a review and it still holding its own. I don’t know about the noise reduction as I live in the middle of rural Georgia and I’m hearing impaired so I can’t help y’all there. However, my treadmill does not move at all now! It’s stationary as it should be. I’ve noticed some reviews where folks said that there was an odor to the mat, but mine had a slight odor so I laid it out on my porch on a dry sunny day, aired it out and I brought it back inside. I had a friend of mine help me move the treadmill. We put the mat down and it’s been there ever since – on top of a very thin carpet. I have plenty of room to maneuver, the treadmill is centered perfect fit, and the mat is thick enough and has a firm grip, and it functions exactly what I needed.

Great Home Gym Setup for Our Teen Athlete
We bought the Fitvids Home Gym Equipment for our high school son, who wanted something solid to use on days he couldn’t get into the school gym. He’s been using it almost every night since we set it up. The equipment is sturdy, smooth, and easy to assemble. No complaints.

Good gym for everyday folks. Not for weight lifting maniacs
Works well for me. There is a junction just above the seat that I have cracked my head on twice. I put a foam rubber piece there so I don’t do it again. Also, the pin that hold the weights is too short and falls out. I went to Home Depot and got an 8″ bolt and that solved the problem.

Very good mat for exercise equipment (e.g. bike trainer). It is long and wide enough for most exercise equipment while many others are a bit too narrow. Good durability but be careful with bike shoe cleats that protrude from the bottom of cycling shoes as they may cut the foam. I use mountain bike SPD pedals which are flat. Consider placing a towel on the mat if using SPD-SL road cleats. You probably want a towel under the bike to absorb sweat anyways. Foam mat is thick enough to make it an excellent option to use for on-floor exercises (e.g. sit-ups). Recommended.

Needed a mat for under a free-standing heavy punching bag (which moves around A LOT). Also…carpet. This thing is perfect! The 3 x 6.5-ft is the perfect size (perhaps size down if looking for a bike mat). It’s comfortable to jump around on, stays in place on carpet, and even keeps the bag in place for the most part. Seems very durable. Excellent exercise mat and for the price it can’t be beat. I would definitely recommend.
