    Could have been perfect for me.
    The journal arrived exactly as depicted in the pictures, and everything in the box was perfect—nothing was broken, creased, or had torn pages.The journal is attractive with its hardcover, but I was surprised to find that more than 45 pages are filled with instructions. This was a bit much for me; I should have looked more closely at the details. I originally thought it was a journal filled primarily with queues on what to write about in your day for those of us that want to start journaling but just simply dont know where to start, but it feels more like 50% someone else’s anecdote book and 50% your journal.It would have been perfect for what i was looking for if it didn’t have those first 45 pages or so, and if I had reviewed the details more thoroughly, but if you’re trying to evolve and work on yourself it just won’t do, since this journal should be more about you and not so much about someone else.Now, apart from the mentioned above, I got this journal for my son because it sounded perfect for personal growth at any time and is perfect for guiding him through goal setting and reflecting on those goals. It truly helps reinforce positive habits and self-improvement. He has been struggling to express himself and appreciate the simple things in life. The Daily Gratitude and Mindfulness Prompts really encourage him to focus on the positive aspects of his day. It has nurtured his sense of gratitude and mindfulness, and he even discusses these topics outside of the journaling context, which is a significant change for him. I hadn’t realized he wanted to express himself through writing until I noticed him keeping a journal about events during his baseball practices. Deciding to get this journal was a great choice; it is both perfect and beautiful.The journal definitely has a premium design and feels high-quality. You can see the craftsmanship just by looking at it, though it doesn’t really lie all that flat, which can make it somewhat difficult to write in depending on the type of pen you use. In any case, it makes a beautiful gift for anyone needing guidance on how to start journaling; I just wish the instructional guide was much shorter instead of almost occupying half the book.

    This journal has changed my life. I was able to improve my mindset and feel much more hopeful after using it for several months now. My mood has also improved quite a bit. I appreciate how the format is forgiving, even if I miss a day, and the 10-day check-ins feel more manageable than, say 30-days challenges. I like how the format lets you reflect on your progress and course correct along the way. Would recommend this to anyone looking for an uplifting journal for pursuing their goals.

    I really like it, but I feel I don’t quite understand the concept of the goal by date. So I write the same goal everyday until I achieve it ? I stopped writing in it, I’m not sure this type of journal is for me, but it helped me get in the groove of actually writing down my thoughts, so I still give it 4 stars

    I really appreciate the thoroughness of the explanation for how to think about what areas of your life you want to improve upon. It would have been nice to have had a section to just journal your thoughts free flow, but I write them anyway. The mood rating circles and ability to graph them after 10 days is really amazing! Highly recommend this journal.
