Great tasting protein shake.
These shakes are delicious! As a busy Mom of 5 I use these as meal replacement shakes, when I don’t get time to make myself something. Am so impressed with all the great nutrients it contains, but it still has such great flavor. Plus it’s dairy free, for anyone with dairy allergies. I do wish it wasn’t so expensive.

Kate Farms Rocks!
I’ve loved Kate Farms for a long time. Their Nutrition Shakes have been the best option for my Mom, who suffers from severe digestive issues. Their organic / plant-based formulas are gentle and well-tolerated by her. While I love how these taste, unlike her, I don’t have a hard time keeping weight on, and, on the contrary, struggle to keep weight off. With their High Protein Nutrition Shake, I was thrilled to finally have a Kate Farms formula that aligns with my dietary needs and fitness / wellness goals. I eat organic, low-sugar foods, am very mindful of ingredients, and have to keep a close eye on my calorie intake. High Protein Nutrition Shake is delicious and checks all those boxes. Chocolate is my personal favorite. As an added bonus, they are also a great source of fiber.

Very good product, they gave me this when I was in hospital. Full of nutrients that your body needs when you can’t eat real food. Easy to digest, taste is good

Tasty if you don’t have ARFID
I’m a vegan, I liked it. In the first few sips of a non-refrigerated drink, I could taste a little bit of non-chocolate things that were maybe a bit weird. But I didn’t get any cardboard and of course there’s no artificial sweetener in this one. It wasn’t too thick, it wasn’t gritty or chalky. It was a nice middle-chocolate flavor, not real dark, not real light. The flavor of the other things faded after a few sips for me. I can’t really comment on how filling the shake is or how long it keeps you full, because I drank this first one right after lunch. I can say the timing was a total mistake, having a regular full lunch plus water plus the drink made me very full. Four stars from me.My child is not vegan, I bought it primarily for them to try because they have ARFID and have a rough time getting enough vitamins and fiber. They like ordinary cow-based chocolate milk and their doc suggested more protein, so we’re trying various chocolate nutrition shakes to see which one they find most palatable. This one was not it for them. They could immediately taste the vegetables/tea, and there was enough bitterness to make the drink unpleasant even though it’d been refrigerated. It was specifically that bitter flavor that turned them off. So this one is not the magic for my child, but I’ll keep these for myself or maybe my spouse until we finish them. No points off for my child not liking the flavor, ARFID does that, not the food.

Really pleased with the flavor. I was first given this in the hospital. I prefer the vanilla to the chocolate. No stomach upset or bad aftertaste.

Awful taste
My first experience with Kate farms drinks was trying the “Peptide 1.5 Vanilla” which tasted rather unpleasant but was filling if you drank it quickly. So i ended switching to the “Nutrition Shake” version hoping for taste improvement with the Coffee flavor providing the best overall taste. Due to sweetness of the coffee shake i wanted to try the “High Protein Chocolate” variation for the lower sugar and higher protein content – big mistake! The taste is unbearable and vomit inducing. My best guess it tastes so bad due to the combination of stevia, monk fruit and other natural flavors. The texture is smooth and i had no stomach issues as it seemed to be easier to digest but the flavor negates all the positives. If you’re taste sensitive – try the regular nutrition shake instead.

Tastes like vitamins
I appreciate that these are vegan. If i absolutely had to have these to live, then i would try really hard to get them down. The problem with nutritional shakes is that they have an unpleasant vitamin taste no matter what they are flavored with and no matter if they are high quality.
