A great piece of equipment for those looking to excel in muscle building. Lat pulldowns are a staple and this machine does that and more! Assembly was very easy. Read reviews first and a socket with 17mm was a game changer. Be sure to put cables in before wheels which definitely helped when finishing the assembly. Takes up very little space and seems to be very good quality. The price is unbeatable and you won’t regret this purchase.

Quite happy with this unit. I looked at a lot of different choices/machines before purchasing but I wanted to avoid something large and overly heavy which I would never be able to move or get out of my house on my own after it was built. This fits my space and my beginner needs. I like having to move the weight plates on and off as well for a bit more exercise. I share them with my leg developer across the room. I can see this meeting my needs for a long time. I am a female with a socket set and and understanding of how to build basic things. I had no issue constructing this myself in a just about 90 minutes. The lines did twist on me after a few sets so I loosened and straightened them to smooth out the mechanism. This is an excellent value, I’ve recommended it to family and friends alike who are beginners. You can perform multiple moves on this. I’ve added some aftermarket handles to improve the moves/positions which has been fun. I wanted something that I could remove the weight from, put sliders under the feet, and move to a new position in the room/house if needed and I am able to do that with this machine. I’m now working out 3 evenings a week, feeling stronger/looser already, and the feel good endorphins related to muscle work are flowing for sure. Highly recommend this unit. There are several smaller units like this that come in multiple variations, all would be good for beginners. I liked the seat on this which meant I did not have to purchase another bench. One disappointment is that the front leg and the foot pedal near it can be a little clunky to maneuver around when performing certain moves. If I were older, this may be a real concern/trip hazard. This cannot be avoided due to the design of the machine and I’ve not fallen, but could see how someone could fall if not careful. I don’t expect I’ll ever have more than 100 lbs on this at one time, so it should serve my needs well for years to come. Wish it was American made, but I was unable to find something this beginner level made here. That said, I was impressed with the quality of this brand and would be willing to buy more from this line.

Plastic bushings on pulleys and the cheapest pulleys you can buy
This machine was really easy to put together, the instructions were very good and all the hardware was packaged amazingly well in accordance with what stage you were working on. I gave it 3 stars because they give these cheap plastic bushings that go on both sides of the pulleys that are supposed to keep the pulley straight and they don’t do that even without a load on it. I will have to buy metal ones. Also the pulleys themselves are the cheapest pulleys that you can buy. The rest of the machine seems solid, I only bought it to do pulldowns and cable rows and it seems to do those well. I figured out that if you put a metal washer between the plastic bushing and the pulley on both sides it makes the pulley much more stable. This machine would have gotten 5 stars from me if they didn’t go cheap on the pulleys and bushings, it’s literally the most important part of the machine!!
