People.. stop searching and just buy it! I purchased a similar system weeks prior to this one, and I was extremely disappointed, set it all up and had to return it, talk about nightmare! The pulley system on the other machine required you to add your own weight, which was fine, however, the pulley system itself was not smooth and would stick creating a break in your rep. The Major fitness machine is the complete opposite! Stacked weights, which allows you to just adjust a simple peg to increase or decrease weight, it is extremely smooth, and it also comes with a bar where you can add plated weights for heavier reps. I built this system myself and it took me about 5 to 6 hours. Set up is very straightforward, again the last system I purchased was like solving a puzzle and a riddle, with no labels on anything. This had everything labeled, including the boxes, and each box contains a printout of what was included in the actual box. Not only that, but the set up video is extremely helpful. If you’re a little stuck. In regard to setting up, I would say the only thing I really didn’t like was the fact that a lot of the screws go on the bottom of the machine, which was kind of weird but definitely doable, for that reason it might be a little easier to work with someone. Also, I would recommend an electric bolt tightener (I have no idea if that’s what it’s called), I did everything manually, which is probably why it took me so long. The system itself is actually a lot more compact than I thought it would be, which was a huge bonus. It just looks very clean and is sturdy. I have this in a spare bedroom and the other machine I sent back (other company) was smaller dimensions, but for whatever reason it actually looks like it took up more space than this one. With the major fitness machine I did notice that the pulley system was a little elevated so I had to push down on it to select a different weight, I reached out to the company and they emailed me back right away and they told me to just place the peg at the heaviest weight setting, which I did and I was just gone for a few days got back and it seems that it stretched everything out where it should be and I’m not having the issue anymore. I also had two less screws that are required for the actual pulley system but it appears the company will be sending me those screws. Now let’s get to the workout. Amazing! Literally everything glides so smoothly, it feels extremely sturdy, and you get that nice sore feeling you expect to get from a good workout. Also, I hate working out, but this system is so aesthetically pleasing that it makes me excited to get in here and work out! I got it while it was on promotion, but honestly, even if it wasn’t on promotion, I would say it’s still worth it. I’ve had so many systems in the past, there was one I had right before this one that I had for a few years that I loved, which was just a pulley system, and as I got more consistent with my workouts I just knew I needed a little bit more. With the major fitness drone two, I feel like I got exactly what I wanted; my old amazing system, but upgraded! Stay strong friends!

Drone 2 Advanced Review — 8/10 OverallI installed the Drone 2 Advanced a couple of weeks ago, and overall, I’d rate it an 8 out of 10. Here’s a breakdown of each component:Installation – 8/10Installation was fairly straightforward but time-consuming. It took me about six hours using just a socket set—and I work in construction. Some of the instructions were a bit confusing, but nothing unmanageable. I highly recommend having a second person help, especially in the early steps where you’ll need to tighten bolts from underneath the equipment.Smith Bar – 8/10This exceeded my expectations. It’s as smooth as a commercial gym Smith machine. That said, there are a couple of drawbacks:• Minor issue: When unracking the bar, it can catch on the rack or guide rod. You need to keep the tilt very precise, which can be tough when lifting heavy.• Moderate issue: The lowest point of the Smith bar sits too high—around 20” off the ground once you install the springs, bumpers, and safety arms. It’s too high for deadlifts unless you stand on a platform.Despite those quirks, I’m very satisfied with it.Pulleys – 9/10I opted out of the weight stack to save money. The height adjustment knobs move smoothly, and the 1:1 ratio is great for heavy exercises. However:• It makes lighter movements like lateral raises a bit harder to manage (not a complaint, just an observation).• The bigger issue: The range of motion is limited. I’m 5’10” with an average wingspan, and I can’t get a full range for exercises like rear delt flys before the cable maxes out.Rack – 8/10Overall, solid. Great for beginners to moderate lifters. If you’re lifting extremely heavy, you might want something more robust. A few notes:• Minor concern: Racking the barbell after heavy bench presses feels a little sketchy.• Design flaw: The weight storage pegs are on the back, so you need to leave at least a foot of clearance from the wall, which eats into home gym space.• The landmine attachment works well.• Pull-up handles are sturdy but could use some texture for better grip—they’re too smooth.Attachments – 3/10Honestly, 3 might be generous. Most of the included attachments are pretty low quality. Thankfully, I had better ones from an older cable system. The safety arms, lat bar, and rope are decent. However, the dip bars, cable handles, and bar attachment are poorly designed or just not functional.⸻Final ThoughtsI love the Drone 2 Advanced. For the price, it’s hard to beat. It lets me do almost everything I need, aside from leg extensions and leg curls. If you’re looking for an affordable all-in-one system, this is a solid choice.
