This massager is AMAZING!! Who needs a partner when you have an all over massager with a remote! This massager gets every crook and creak in my neck and back. I’m talking lower, mid and upper back. Better Than I Thought It Would Be
I had to send the 1st one back because the box had been opened and it seemed to have been used. The 2nd one arrived and I have to say I was skeptical. I have had lots of deep massage, shiatsu and acupuncture. How could this thing do anything near shiatsu? My former masseur told me I could partially replicate deep massage by using 2 tennis balls in a sock along my spine, while lying down on floor or bed and moving my body against the contraption. He said he did this on long distance flights, using the high back of the seat, instead of laying down. I used 1 tennis ball, no sock. It did work, although my squirming and thrashing around seemed kind of upsetting/irritating to my cats. I did not do this with any human present 🙂 It got the knots out of my neck and shoulders when I couldn’t get in to see a pro. Was this new thing any better? It seemed even more unwieldy. It was bigger and bulkier than I thought it would be.But it does feel amazingly like fingers! It’s much easier and tidier than the tennis ball and does not give other creatures cause for alarm. I can move it around and vary the speed. I can vary the pressure by holding it down or letting up. What’s not great is the bulkiness, which is manageable if you are not a small person. But the heat function barely functions. I’m not sure if it got a little warmer because I had been wearing it for a while or because turned on the heat. I wore it longer than what they say to initially because I’m used to deep tissue massage. Not sure if I should return it again because the heat thing might just be the way it is.
