Great taillight, acceptable headlight
I bought this combo because the price was right and the specs matched what I was looking for. So far, this set-up has worked well. The rubber band style mount on both lights make it easy to switch between bikes and is acceptable for different sized/shaped handlebars and seat tubes. The rear light seems to stay put very well on my 27.2mm seat post on my mountain bike. I haven’t noticed any movement from the light (up, down or side to side) even after multiple off-road rides. The headlight does seem to ‘droop’ even on my road bike but it’s not to the point of being obnoxious. I may have to adjust it once or twice on a 35 mile ride. The battery life seems to be excellent on the rear light. I like the flash mode and I’ve used it for several rides without needing to charge it yet. The headlight on the other hand requires charging after every other ride. I always use it on low (that’s all I need for my application) and run it for 1.5-2 hours at a time. The battery indicator light usually turns red early into my 2nd ride. The light stays strong on low throughout the rest of the ride, no problem. Speaking of indicator light, that blue light on top to indicate that the charge is adequate is very bright! I find it distracting in pitch black conditions to have that blue light glaring up at me while riding. Perhaps I’ll reposition the light with the indicator pointing down – it will be easy enough to do with the rubberband style mount. The fact that I don’t change the brightness level during my ride means I won’t have any issues caused by trying it like that.Overall, this is a great light set that I wouldn’t hesitate to buy again. I wish the battery lasted a little longer on the headlight. I’m mostly concerned that I’ll soon only get a single ride out of it.

Great budget light set
Lights work fine and is really bright. No issues. For all the people leaving the 1 star reviews saying it came dead on arrival because the light button is red… learn how to read the instructions. You need to hold the button down for ~8 secs

Bright light, attaches anywhere, great customer service
Love the Nitelight’s adjustable brightness or flashing. Light’s flexible strap allows me to attach it anywhere, usually put it on my bike’s front fork so it’s closer to the ground where I want to see and not in people’s eyes. After 18 months / 3k miles of road/gravel riding, it would no longer charge. Awkwardly micro-usb connector hidden under the rubber waterproof plug next to the rubber handlebar strap seems to have gone bad. THE COMPANY QUICKLY REPLACED IT UNDER TWO YEAR WARRANTY SO WOULD BUY AGAIN!

Stopped working after only 2 uses
Used it twice. Light was bright though battery life was much shorter than other lights I’ve owned. Went to use it today for only the third time and it wouldn’t turn on. Charged it until the charge light turned blue, still won’t turn on. If I unplug and replug it to charge it immediately acts as if battery is depleted again. Garbage, as many others have attested…

Be Prepared for Night Riding
I use these lights day and night. Red flasher on the back, white flasher front during the day. A night I use the white headlight. It’s bright enough that sometimes drivers will flash their high beams at me to get me to dim mine–they are that bright! The runtimes are good and will indicate when the battery is start to run down with plenty of time to get home. I recommend this set and would buy it again.

Doesn’t charge no matter how long it’s plugged in for.

Exactly as advertised and seem like really decent lights. Very secure on bike but easy to remove when needed.

For the price a excellent choice for road bikes. They are light and bright keep an long charge and much cheaper then buying off road lights. Nite rider has always made a quality product.
