Feedback after using repeatedly.
Very good back pack. After multiple trips in both nature and the city, this is my feedback.Has 3 compartments. A small front pocket with upper zipper opening that is about a third of hight.Second is medium all the way compartment with an upper zipper. It has a string to attach keys and sorts. The third is the largest compartment, which is at the back and also goes all the way down. It does not have a laptop sleeve or any cushion for a laptop so I use my own laptop sleeve but a 15″ laptop can fit inside. There is no internal zippered pocket in any of the above compartments. There is an outside small pocket on one of the waist bands which can fit a 10,000ma power bank or a wallet. The other waist band has an open pocket, made of an elastic net. There are multiple straps to configure the shoulder straps to fit well. It makes it comfortable to carry for long term and heavy items. The side pockets are also big enough for two 500ml bottles each. And deep enough for a long 750ml steel water bottle. There are outside straps also to keep things tight. The back part has a mesh net which is good for both ventelation and weight distdistribution. The bagg is also lights and since it is the width of the back, slim but not too slim, my hands can go backwards without my elbows bumping into the backpack. I do wish it had at least one zippered compartment internaly and a padded, even lightly, laptop sleeve built in.I also would have made the middle compartment a little wider on the top since when the back compartment has items in it and also the from one, then it makes the middle compartment opening too small, although there is still a lot of room at the bottom of the middle compartment but it is difficult to access.Over all great backpack. I have other Osprey’s, this is a nice one.

Great Backpack!!
Perfect size. I recently took it on an European hike. I was not only able to use it for a day hike but also as my carry-on luggage for the flight. with all the pockets and zipper compartments it was easy to use and gave one great functionality. It was a great price for what I received.

Awesome day hike or overnight pack
Best day hike pack I have owned. Plenty of pockets, my back didn’t sweat like with my old packs and I hardly noticed i was carrying it. The only downside I had is the sleeve where my water bladder went, I didn’t like the “Hook” that was designed for it. I used a water buffalo bladder and the handle was to wide for that “Hook”. I improvised with a tiny Carabiner. It’s probably just my handle on the bladder. The material was tough. I had it packed well and no problems with stitching. The storage capacity is perfect for an overnight or day hike. The weight is perfect. Good padding for the shoulder straps.

Comfortable and durable
This backpack is legendary. Really great at distributing weight and I was able to have it strapped on for 7 hour long hikes in Montana. The straps helped with the lumbar support when I had to pack for longer hikes. It was easy to clean after the days full of dirty and fit my 3L water pouch comfortably too. On the heaviest pack, I was able to fit socks, waterproof pants, a shirt, under clothes, snacks, flashlight, first aid kit, camera, light jacket, and miscellaneous items with my water pouch too. This is a reliable brand and I’d buy it again

Good pack for day hiking
I am a big Osprey fan as I have other larger back packs made by them. This 25L pack feels very durable and well-made, and has lots of storage compartments with exterior compression straps, as well as hip belt pockets. The shoulder straps are adjustable and the back is ventilated. There is an exterior bladder pocket (bladder not included) for water, or there are two stretchy, deep side pockets for water bottles that have compression straps to keep them securely in place. It is very comfortable and practical to wear on long day hikes. However, I work in a National Park and was looking for a medium capacity back pack I could use daily to carry my lunch, keys, outer layer, notebooks, iPad, charging cords, sun screen, bug spray, water bottle, and umbrella. Honestly, I’m not loving this pack for that purpose. It is almost too big for that as the storage compartments are fairly deep and I find myself having to dig around a lot to find smaller items. The protruding hip pockets at the bottom of the pack don’t allow me to set the pack down without it falling over, so I have to usually lay it down flat horizontally or hang it on a hook. It’s a great pack, and I will continue to use it for longer day hikes, but I will probably buy a smaller pack without hip belt pockets for every day carry.

Perfect size and tons of space!
Needed a hiking backpack that was good for day trips but also hold more for wherever I went that day. Some hikes will be a couple hours and another all day. I have the biking backpack and love it for the utility and durability. The material is good, I don’t believe it’s waterproof but I think it’s water resistant. I love having a separate compartment for a water bladder plus 2 big compartments for stuffing. There is a pocket on the right hip support and always found that good for wallet or what not. Not too big and not too small either. I’m 5’11 with a proportional torsos and ordered the small/medium. There is a nice air flow mesh separation on the back to allow some cooling, and the side pockets can hold 20 oz water bottle easy.

Amazing pack I love it! Perfect for day hikes. Fits all I need and has all the straps so that it sits on my hips so it’s not fatiguing to wear. Plenty of room for the 10 essentials plus I take a pocket rocket camp stove and fuel to make myself a cocoa when I get to the top. Easily pack 4 L of water, my windbreaker and snacks and even a mini folding chair! Love it!
