Great, Durable, Comfortable Backpack.
I have taken this on many trecks and up mountains, probably 200+ miles so far. This pack has been comfortable and becomes apart of your body. Outside of a few scratches and wear, still looks new and is holding up fantastic. Excellent size for weekend trecks or 3-4 day hikes. 25-30lbs feels fine in this pack.One thing I’ll note, if you get some strong zip ties you can greatly increase the space you can stuff items in between the brain and the main sack. Excellent backpack.

Great day pack
Great day pack, has a hard back which i like. Got a dry sack to keep things dry inside if I need. Fits well and is super comfortable. I’ll probably use this for the next 10 – 20 years.

High quality backpack
My impression after first getting the bag: excellent quality and durability. Only complaint so far is that the hydration bladder clip seems to only work for osprey bladders, not a general clip.

Low-Profile, High-Performance Backpack
Perfect everyday pack. Comfortable, durable, and big enough for gear without looking like you’re hauling a small country.Replaced my old backpack with this and haven’t looked back. I wanted something low-profile without a ridiculous amount of dangling straps, and the Talon 22 nails it. I use it for everything. Carry-on when traveling, hauling climbing gear, and keeping my work gear together over the summer.It’s surprisingly roomy for a 22L, and the adjustment straps make it extremely comfortable. I’m 6’2” with a lean build, and it fits me perfectly. Been using it every day since I bought it, and it’s held up great.If you want a lightweight, versatile pack that doesn’t scream “expedition to Everest,” this is it.

Perfect Upgrade!
Wow, what a difference this backpack has made for me! I had about 500 hiking miles on my old pack, an Osprey Daylite Plus (a great pack, too) and decided I needed something just a little bigger, with a better hip belt, and upgrading to the Talon 22L was the perfect solution.I’m not an ultra-lighter and tend to carry more than I probably need, but I solo hike and everything I carry is for “just in case” I get myself into trouble. With the Daylite Plus I was making trade-offs for every hike, deciding what I could leave at home, based on the weather, since I didn’t have quite enough room to carry everything I wanted to carry. That problem has been solved now with the Talon 22L. Not only can I carry more comfortably, but with the number of adjustments you can make, I’d say most people would have a hard time not finding this to be a great fit.I can see how this backpack may be overkill for most day hikes, and ultralighters may find it a little heavy, but those are the only things I can think of that would deter somebody from getting one of these. If you like to carry a lot, even on shorter hikes, you really can’t go wrong with this pack. Solidly built like my other Osprey packs and will most likely outlive me! Plus, with Osprey’s All Mighty Guarantee, you really can’t go wrong. Highly recommended and worth the money!

Great 1 full day hiking rucksack. Needed to be big enough to carry wet weather clothing and extra layers for 2 adults as well as a small first aid pouch and other hiking essentials. This does all that perfectly with room to spare. Great fit and adjustment, it’s actually comfortable to wear. Very happy with choice 👌

Sono un amante degli zaini. Tra moto, fotografia e trekking mi sono fatto una certa cultura.È caro, osprey si fa pagare, però la qualità globale degli zaini è fuori discussione. Specialmente nella ricerca e sviluppo di schienali comodi, sostenuti, e traspiranti sono il top. Indossato ha uno schienale che segue letteralmente la schiena come fosse un paraschiena da moto. È abbastanza sostenuto per sopportare una decina di kg tranquillamente. È uno zaino con cui ci puoi fare un weekend in montagna tra ricambi, gusci pesanti e un minimo di attrezzatura fotografica. Certo non ci puoi caricare una tenda, con attrezzatura varia. Non è fatto per quello. Ha solo una tasca zip dietro, e la classica tasca a rete dietro. Ma non lo trovo in difetto. Ho anche un Fairpoint 40litri per i viaggi. Anch’esso top. Pagato meno di questo. 139 euro spedito.Mi riservo qualche mese di utilizzo per valutare la comodità.

Not a cheap pack by any means and for the price, I’d expect nothing short of perfection, which it doesn’t quite deliver.It’s not a disaster through, it’s got plenty of adjustment in al of the straps including the yoke so finding the correct fit should be easy for everybody. It’s a shame that they “cheaped out” on the waist strap not making it padded (same with chest strap) but the shoulder straps are comfortable. Osprey make a big deal out of their airscape back panel and honestly, I was disappointed. Yea, there is a mesh area there but I found my back still wasn’t adequately ventilated and even in. normal weather my bad was feeling hot and sweaty carrying the pack, even when not filled to the brim. It’s not uncomfortable to wear at all, far from it, just don’t believe the hype that it’s perfect on ventilation, it isnt.In the newer 2025 version (which i have) they’ve moved the water bladder pocket from outside to the inside which wasn’t clear and came as a surprise. This will suit some people but for me, I specifically wanted an outside pocket as i use this for work and need quick access to a work tablet. I now need to rummage through the inside to find it. It also increases the risk of your belongings getting soaked if your water bladder bursts.That said, it’s lightweight. durable feeling, zips are good and smooth and the designs of the other pockets are good. Also note the sunglasses holder on the shoulder straps has been removed on the latest version.It’s still a good pack but for the price and the marketing hype, I was expecting slightly better.
