Comfortable gloves for summertime riding
Bought these gloves to have better grip while riding in the summer as well as padding.I sweat heavily while riding and sometimes the sweat drips down my arms making it difficult to have a firm grip on handle bars with grip tape.I have been loving these gloves. They are very breathable, have great padding, have a very comfortable fit and are extremely durable. I have not had much of an issue touching the screen on my iPhone whenever I need to use it, and overall is a great product.I have been using Pearl Izumi products for a decade and have never been disappointed. Again, another solid product from this company!

Bought a medium based on size chart. A bit too small
Padded area on Medium size did not cover low enough on palm. Did not try ordering in a large. I wish these had more grip surfaces on the ends of the fingers for better control of road brake levers. They have a bit but it didn’t do much. I felt like the palm padding could have been a bit thicker.

Great lightweight gloves from Pearl Izumi! Close fitting for maximum dexterity, comfortable materials, and nice and breathable. Great cool-weather athletic glove, or perfect as a liner in colder conditions.

Overall, Great Gloves…Just Two Issues…
First let me say that I LOVE the gloves! These are excellent for early spring and fall rides during the crisp morning hours when it’s just a little chilly. But they are also excellent for full hand protection year round. Although, you may want to consider a white pair for the summer months rather than black for obvious reasons. haha. I raced with these last Saturday for about 60 miles. The temps started out around 48 degrees F., and ended around 60F. The gloves were wonderful! It’s like they were not even there. They worked excellent with my phone, Garmin 1030, and my watch (all touch screen). In fact, I don’t ever recall having to repeatedly swipe or tap the screens… ever. They responded instantly. The gloves kept my hands warm and comfortable throughout the ride. The padding is perfect… not too thick, but very thin and effective. Hands never went numb, nor did they experience any pain. The Velcro attachment is seamless, tight, and held the entire time. I only had two issues with the gloves, none of which effect the performance of the gloves themselves, but are critical. The first issue, and perhaps the most important… was I could NOT find a sizing chart when I got these. When it comes to cycling, you are sometimes stuck with European sizing, and other times it’s American sizing. It can be rather frustrating finding the correct size because I’ve seen it mixed about 50-50 in the cycling world. When I got these gloves, I took a chance and ordered a “Large” pair, based solely on my prior experience purchasing gloves in the past from other brands and HOPING these gloves were NOT Italian or European sizing. Luckily, these gloves DO seem to be standard American sizing and fit great! But for the love of cycling! Please upload a sizing chart for heavens sake! haha.. Otherwise you may risk having to return or exchange a few pairs of gloves… and with the price your paying for these… that is unacceptable! Which brings me to my second issue, and that is the pricing. What did you make these gloves with? Unicorn hair? Why are they so high priced?? Yes, they are great gloves, but there are other pairs just as good at 1/10th the cost! I don’t get it? So… I guess if you really love the brand and want to pay extra, then these gloves are for you. You’ll receive an excellent pair of gloves (if you guess the correct size..). No complaints here on quality and performance. These gloves would be absolutely outstanding if the price was more reasonable and they provided you a sizing chart… they would be epic! But excellent gloves as-is nonetheless.
