Performance and Ease of Cleaning
Best electric razor I have ever had (and I have had about everyone of them at one time or another!) I use Cremo Refreshing Mint shave cream and water; I rinse the razor often and clean it in the cleaning pod about every 2nd or 3rd day. I have been using it about a month now and it still looks new like it just came out of the box! Shaves very close with virtually no razor burn or blemishes left like I got with a blade. If you are tired of razor burn with a blade and still want a great shave that lasts all day, this will do it for you. I also highly recommend the cleaning pod and their cleaning solution. I only have to change the solution every 2 months so it is very cost effective for the great cleaning job it does and very easy to do! Battery life for me is about two weeks and I shave everyday. I was a little skeptical at first with the cost because I was already using a Phillips Prestige and wasn’t sure it would really be much different, but finally decided to go for it when it came on sale for 30+% off. In my opinion, the Ultra is a lot quicker and catches the whiskers much better (my beard grows in all directions!), than the older Prestige. I also like the light ring around the head that coaches you on the right pressure – has made a huge difference in how well the razor cuts and how long it takes to complete a shave.

Close, quick shave, very comfortable, lots of uses off each charge
I’ve used this series of Norelco shavers for about 15 years. I got 7-8 years out of the first 2 I owned, so this was the only one I was interested in. I must say, I wasn’t disappointed— close shave, very comfortable, does the job quickly, and I get 18-20 shaves off each charge.The first thing I noticed when using it was that it was quite comfortable and smooth. I was also pleased with how quickly it gave me a quick shave. I shave my head and face every day, and it results in a smooth shave in about 3.5 minutes every time. The battery life is very good—I can get 18-20 shaves out of each charge. Speaking of that, it only takes about an hour to charge, and the charging station looks kinda cool. I also got the quick-clean base, which works nicely. In 60 seconds the razor is clean and lubricated. Oh yeah, I also got the “trimmer” head which I use to trim my mustache a couple times a week and it also works well.At first glance, this razor kit may look expensive. However, considering that I will get over 2,500 shaves from it and considering how much disposable razors and shaving cream cost, it’s actually a pretty decent value. Two thumbs up from me for this shaver!

Smooth, Comfortable, and Worth Every Penny
I’ve been using the Norelco i9000 for a few weeks, and it’s easily the best electric shaver I’ve owned. The shave is incredibly smooth and comfortable, even on sensitive skin. It glides effortlessly, with no pulling or irritation, and leaves a close finish that feels as good as a traditional razor.The design feels premium, the battery lasts a long time, and cleaning is simple with the included base. I also appreciate how quiet it is compared to other shavers I’ve tried.Overall, the i9000 delivers an excellent shave every time and makes the daily routine something I actually enjoy. Highly recommended.

Doesn’t really shave better than my 10 year old shaver

I got this Philips i9000 Prestige Ultra, and I must say I’m genuinely impressed with its performance. It outshaves every other device I’ve tried before, offering an exceptionally quick and efficient shaving experience. Unlike typical electric shavers that often take longer than traditional razors, this model delivers speed without compromising on quality. And I like that I don’t need to run the same area again and again couple of run was kind of suffice to get the clean shave.I used the regular mode without foam despite having sensitive skin. Although I experienced a slight burning sensation around my neck area, it was easily alleviated with some aftershave, leaving me comfortable shortly after. The shaver’s lightweight design makes it effortless to manoeuvre, which is particularly handy as I maintain a goatee beard.What truly stands out for me as a tech enthusiast is the shaver’s smart connectivity feature. Being able to link it to my phone and access detailed data like Pressure and Motion which keeps me informed on how I am using the shaver which has proven both fascinating and useful.

This is my third Phillips rotary shaver and this one is again something better than my previous ones and yes they were also top modelsInstead of using a DC 110 volt adapter to charge this one uses USB charging which for me is OK, less cords on my bathroom counter. I have the charging stand connected permanently in my bedroom and use the more stable bigger cleaning container in my bathroom with the shaver placed on that.This shaver does shave closer than my previous one(s) so yes I feel the purchase was worth it .It comes with a nice travel case.You can turn off the lights on the shaver in the Groom Tribe App. which I did after awhile.I took one star off just for the price.Regardless I still highly recommend this shaver.
