Operation
Know that opening the item turns it on and for kiddos whose fingers are so small it shuts off. Not recognizing that the finger is in there. However, if you hold it slightly open it will still register the kids pulseox.

I ordered this oximeter to monitor my blood oxygen as I sometimes experience allergy/asthmatic symptoms. They are widely used by medical personnel in numerous settings – for example, if you were ever tested for covid you more than likely had one used on your finger. Painless, fast and simple. Since I have had so many readings done with oximeters, I know what is normal for myself and so far this little unit has been right there with the readings. Does that mean I vouch for the accuracy? No, because units for home use are NOT put through the same thing as those for medical professionals. Please do remember that a lot of factors can also affect the results – for example, cold hands, nail polish/fake nails. This little unit is lightweight and comes with a short usb charging cable and a lanyard. It appears to be decently made and the led readout screen is clear and the info a large enough size that you don’t have to struggle to read. As with any medical type products, don’t take any risks – for general purpose information collecting/tracking your blood oxygen and pulse rate this unit is, in my opinion, fine, but if you have medical issues with either that require close monitoring for your safety, please talk with your medical people for advice.
