Quality and saving money
Over all pretty nice design went together very well all the parts where there and clearly labeled. The instructions didn’t have any words that I can remember but the diagrams are easy to follow I had it together in 2.5 hrs. The only thing I have to change is the logo plate at the top I put them on the inside of the cage not the out side. This is a great home gym for anyone looking to workout and get back in shape I received this order in two delivery’s but could have been three if two didn’t get delivered together. The items will come in three boxes one is 135lbs the next two are 64lbs and 70lbs that’s some info I couldn’t find in any of the descriptions. I ordered 260lbs of weight. A 7ft bar extra bar and bench. The machine was on sale for 599 the weights where 215 the bar was 65 and the bench was 55 my total bill was 999 dollars with tax and I have a complete workout station.

Just What I Was Looking For
I spent a good two months looking for the perfect cage, and I found it! The system was delivered in two boxes and all parts were accounted for and wrapped/packaged like the seller cared about our purchase. Easy installation. The cage comes with basic wrenches for installation, but highly recommend you use a socket wrench for faster installation. It took my husband and myself 2 1/2 hours. All parts are labeled and installation is broken down into five easy steps. Attachments are high value. Pulley system is smooth as butter and you can use 1″ and 2″ plates with the conversion bars. I’m so impressed with the amount of attachments this cage comes with. We do have to buy a longer barbell for the cage, but that was expected. This is a solid cage. No sway at all!! My husband is 6ft, 230ish lbs and he has plenty of room in the cage. We’re not competitive weight lifters (stay in shape to be healthy), so there won’t be an obscene amount of weight put on this system. The functionality of this cage is amazing! I can see this holding up in our gym for a very long time.

Good for the price point
I think this power cage makes for a decent home gym especially for the price point. Definitely a great cage for beginners to get started into fitness. It is big enough for me to fit in it fine (6ft tall) and also not take up too much space in the garage. The cables work great with concentric motions, but the eccentric feels like there is less tension on the muscles. The cage is a little wobbly, but not enough for me to be concerned. I haven’t attempted any heavy workouts with the smith machine yet. I tested it out with a plate on each side and it felt nice. I sat on top of the smith as well and it held up great. So I could trust benching in the 3 and 400’s by myself safely. It’s stable enough to support me with weighted dips and pull ups. I like that it came with a variety of attachments and a landmine for different exercises. There’s definitely better equipment out there, but you’ll pay triple for it. If you’re on a budget this is a solid piece of equipment.P.S: The instructions could be marked better. The top rails didn’t specify what direction was top and bottom and I found out I had it upside down when it was time to put the hooks for the attachments on. They were marked at the end of the instructions, which I found to be pretty annoying that the beginning wasn’t. I don’t want to take it apart to fix it. But don’t let that stop you from getting it.

Garage Budget Power Cage
Yes the item was great, it took about 3 hours to assemble once all the parts were laid out. The cabling is smooth so far and I have no real complaints. The rack wobble a bit when using the smith machine portion but with some weight/sandbags it should be no issue.

Measure twice, order once. Machine is taller than images lead you to believe.
so i’ll start here by saying I am not a lifter, I’m a cyclist. What I had was a peloton and some free weights, and a bench, really very little else. I found this machine and it was not the one I was targeting, but it was the one I ended up buying and I’m glad that I did. What I will say is if you’re working with limited space be very sure about your measurements. This one said in the literature that it was maybe 85 inches I think, but that’s the back of the machine and not inclusive of the pull up bar that makes the height higher. The original machine I wanted would have been too big for my space in retrospect. Second, when you do put this together (and I love doing stuff like this) double check each part and its orientation even though the directions are not clear on that point as that absolutely matters. But, once everything was together the machine has been solid. As I stated at the beginning, I am not a lifter, I am a cyclist so I have not overloaded the machine. What I am is 6’4 and I find that while I have to duck under the bar, that’s not really an issue, but the real versatility of all the cable routines makes this machine an incredible value. I find it sturdy, I find it versatile and it’s made me look forward to my workouts. Not sure I can say that about the peloton since it’s kind of a one trick pony. So I would conclude by saying measure twice, order once. Know that the boxes will be beat to hell because the parts are heavy (3 boxes in total) for for me at least, all the parts were there. Oh and P.S. allow about 4 hours to assemble this; I managed to do it by myself, but I would not move it alone. Way too heavy for that.

Can not do any chest press with smith part
I would not waste your money on this. You can not do incline or decline on the smith part. It’s a struggle to do flat, your head will hang off the bench and be super close to the pulley. The slides and pulley are not smooth at all. The rack itself sways back-and-forth a little. The bar is very thin. I’d be never put much weight on it. This machine is not very sturdy at all. Also had some damage. Looks like maybe some from shipping and some from a used part

Good quality for the price
Despite the box arriving damaged the Assembly was easy and quality seems good. I’ve had it assembled 2 days but the pulley system works well and feels balanced.
