Real nice if you’ve got the space for it
I got the cast iron weights with the handles since I didn’t want to deal with stinking rubber so the Inner diameter of the weights are not a perfect fit but I wasn’t looking for well crafted engineering precision at this price point. And those 25 pound weights substitute certain dumbbell and kettlebell exercises that I lack without a gym. (kettlebell is still a solid portable weight to keep in the car.) The metal clamps are fine for now but I’ll be getting those plastic+rubber clamps eventually.Just to mention it so you’re not surprised the barbell is 3 piece twist together setup – This makes sense for shipping concerns but rest assured it’s not lacking in durability from my impressions. And thankfully all of the items were received in 1 package despite seeing broken ends on the box.I exercise outside so space is not a concern for me but if you’re in a small space definitely go for a smaller bar. I’m an average height dude so I can actually lean that 7ft barbell with weights vertically and position it on my back and use a delicate act of leverage to get my squat lifts in without a cage/stand but I’m 100% not going for any heavier weights until I safely work up to that level. Squat lunges have been fun with this heavy of a bar haha and javelin presses + skull crushers concern me a bit as it’s quite a long bar to balance.Otherwise what a perfect bar to get all the landmine style/meadow presses in.

GOOD PRODUCT/missing parts/delivery issues
As far as the set is concerned, it is a good set IF you get the entire set upon delivery. I am giving it 5 stars because the product is GREAT, and the rating should always be about the product, but I am unsatisfied with the delivery issues below.I ordered these weights twice now and each delivery came with the same issue-MISSING PARTS! The first time I ordered it, all of the weights (25lbs x2/10lbs x2/5lbs x2/2.5lbs x2) came but the bar and the clips never arrived. I made contact with Amazon and they advised they would send a new COMPLETE set as ordered at no cost to me. They were very understanding and fixed the issue immediately.That new set just arrived and it was literally just the bar, clips, and 1 25lb weight. Now, I am unsure if this is Amazon’s fault or FedEx (the first delivery)/UPS (the second delivery) but I am sure that it is an issue that needs to be worked out. I understand there are a lot of loose/heavy pieces but I was still bothered by this.All of the pieces, except the orginal bar and clips, did eventually arrive. Hopefully the issues are worked out in the future.

Beware: Multiple piece barbell/not 700lb support
First let me give 5 stars to Amazon customer service who refunded me my money back.This package just arrived today. It is 16 days past due. It is missing a 25lb plate, but I’m blaming FedEx for that.Now the reason for the Zero stars (Amazon not everyone deserves a star.) The barbell is not solid one piece but in multiple pieces. Which means it doesn’t support 700 pounds. Probably closre to 300 -500, however, I’m not risking my life to test it.Order the plates if you wish, and pray whatever delivery service doesn’t loose your package, but do not order for the barbell. Your safety is at risk.

It was pretty good. I thought it was going to be a problem that the bar is a 3 piece set that screws together, but it’s not a problem at all. It’s sturdy and solid.

For the price, can’t be beat!
We needed weights for our home gym, and this was the best deal we could find. I love the open spaces on the weights that allow them to be used for other kettle bell type activities, not to mention it makes it easier to move them around. The barbell seems great… the ends rotate well even after 1/2 year of use. The only issue I have is trying to find extra weight plates I can buy that have this exact look, but that’s not really this set’s fault.I would buy these again in a heartbeat!

Best weight plate deal on Amazon!
I recently bought a power cage and needed a set of weight plates in order to even use it. I searched Amazon for days and this was the best deal I could find. Weight plates are really expensive and usually don’t come in big sets like this, so I highly recommend this one. I got the 305 lbs of weight plates (including the Olympic bar) while it was on sale for about 30% off. It came out to be around $1 per pound (or maybe cheaper). The plates are solid and the construction is good. Shipping has to be coordinated through a special delivery service, but that wasn’t a big deal. Everything arrived in perfect condition. Very happy with this purchase!

Solid bar and weights just one annoyance
It works and it arrived undamaged, the bar is 45 pounds not 33 pounds (7 foot bar) and the weights all did arrive (separately) so not sure what on earth the other reviews are talking about in regards to not getting weights.The annoying thing for me is that 1 of the weight plate sets didn’t match the style of the others, to be specific we got 2x gray 10lbs and the rest are black. Obviously not going to return a 130 pound item for that so I just have to live with it unless the vendor wants to send me the right ones.On the plus side there seems to be plenty of room for more weight plates on this once I am able to bench and deadlift the full amount.Update: Every single time I add or remove weights I get little metal splinters everywhere and have to vacuum the floor. If I knew this would be the case I would of bought one on Craigslist. Eventually it will run out of metal to splinter so the problem will resolve itself but who knows when that will happen.
