Great taste – is it safe?
This is a great protein powder – tastes great, dissolves without lumping – verdict still out on safety of this brand; it is not mentioned in several of the studies.

I credit this with making me fit
I hadn’t exercised in years when I decided that I was going to get fit and I wanted a lifestyle change, meaning I was going to build muscle. I chose this protein powder. This was instrumental for me to successfully get into the habit of exercising.For me, working out is not always enjoyable, but drinking chocolate milk always is. So I decided that I would drink chocolate protein milk ONLY after a workout. After I perfected my recipe, I came to crave the chocolate milk so much that I would work out in order to drink it. If I didn’t work hard enough, i’d deny myself the privilege of drinking chocolate milk and revert to less appealing protein sources. This encouraged me to work harder and longer to get my reward. The gratification was insane.The reward method helped me get into incredible shape and achieve my dream body. I unfortunately became extremely ill and lost a lot of weight. I was emaciated, meaning I had to focus on gaining weight and not exercise for months. I am now within a healthier weight range and am working out again. Unfortunately, I got a different whey protein on a whim and it’s frankly quite disgusting so I’m finding it harder to get back in the habit. Since I used reward as a motivation to achieving results and my reward right now isn’t good, I’m grudgingly finishing up that tub of protein so that I can open up my new tub of tera’s and return to the proper reward system.This protein is more expensive than other wheys but the ingredients (whey concentrate, organic cocoa, organic stevia, and sunflower lecithin) are much less offensive than what other protein powders have. The whey comes from family farms with artificial hormone free, grass-fed cows. Whey is then extracted from the cheesemaking process by artisan cheesemakers. (Paraphrased from the tera’s whey website) Additionally, whey concentrate is superior to whey isolate, which is whey concentrate that has been stripped of its other beneficial nutrients. Other protein powders are not likely to have even a few organic ingredients. Given the cleaner sources of the ingredients and the incredible flavor, this is a guiltless source of protein. $20 is a fine price to pay for your fitness if it consistently motivates you to work even harder.Lastly, my recipe. I do not like thick chocolate milk so it might not suit some people, but I loved it.-1 level scoop of protein-60 g milk (1/4 cup)-40 g water (fill up 1/4 cup two-thirds of the way up)

Great Product for Protein Intake. Tips:
Absolutely love Simply Tera’s protein powder. I am on a weight loss injection medication (GLP-1) and need extra intake of protein to prevent muscle loss. This helps me keep muscle, does not affect weight, and gives me the extra energy I need when lacking protein in my diet. I prefer to have one serving twice a day. I find it is good mixed in my morning coffee and is completely fine in water. I prefer the chocolate flavor for drinking with plain water. As with any high intake of protein, it is important to also have an adequate amount of fiber so be sure to take that into account when having any concerns about constipation when using protein powders. You have to make sure that you are having enough fiber to have regular bowel movements. Taking a magnesium supplement in addition to protein and fiber helps keep everything regular like it should be.

This is a nice tasting protein powder. Especially for being so clean as they usually taste terrible or chalky. This one is yummy even by itself. It’s highly recommended by ‘Bobby Approved’ which reviews clean food products and makes recommendations. I don’t mind the higher price point as I know I am getting a better product which warrants the price. It’s great with milk or added to an iced coffee in the morning. It’s easy to mix in a shaker. Smells chocolatey and doesn’t have a grainy or chalky texture. I love this stuff.

AWESOME WAY TO MAKE ANY FOOD INTO A DELICIOUS SNACK
I’m a big fan of Tera’s for a lot of reasons. After 26 years of being a vegetarian (not the good kind who balances beans and stuff to get complete protein, the kind that just picks around the meat on the table and eats too much bread) I found myself critically anemic and had to go back to animal products. An animal-lover, rescuer, and conscious consumer, this was horrifying to me, and I immersed myself in finding local ranchers whose methods and product I could support. I’m super particular, but it saved my life. So getting enough protein has always been a huge issue for me and a nutritionist I really respect suggested this. I researched the crap out of it, I contacted the company, they were friendly and transparent and responsive. I tried the organic goat whey plain, and I’m obsessed. I add it to everything, particularly yogurt, and the added protein had made a tremendous overall impact in the food choices I make all day because it’s more filling. My roommate rolls his eyes at most anything I consume but I got him this chocolate one and he was instantly hooked. Suddenly this mid-west farm boy who grew up on cream was making delicious pudding with almond milk and this chocolate whey powder. He won’t admit it to me (!) but I notice the container is very low and I discreetly replaced it for him. It now goes into smoothies, homemade ice cream, everything. It is NOT cloyingly sweet. It’s cocoa, not processed chocolate. It has a touch of stevia and I don’t happen to like sweet drinks so for me I prefer the plain, but I did add to a yogurt / chia seed “pudding” one night meant for breakfast and it was a damn fine dessert. Would be good in coffee if you’re one of those who put 50 things into your Starbucks types. Dissolves easily.

The chocolate smells literally like the feet of a dying athlete. Can’t believe she is putting this out in the market and it’s made it past R&D. Even opening the safety seal was a burst of ass. The vanilla is perfect and non detectable in smoothies. Tried to put this gag chocolate in cream for protein coffee and each approach to the cup was a pure hurling experience. I can’t do it and will be getting my money back because this stuff is rancid. Stick with the vanilla if you need organic whey.

Tastes amazing, I like to put cherries, water and ice cubes and it’s so good. I watched so many reviews on YouTube about what the best protein powder out there is. This one basically came on top of the list with the cleanest ingredients. Not a thing in here that is bad for your body, that’s what I like about it, it’s healthy and delicious. Will definitely order again but maybe try the vanilla flavour.

As previous customers have mentioned, unfortunately both tubs I ordered had a very strong smell of washing up liquid/chemical smell.The protein powder itself also had an odd taste and looked a completely different colour to the previous one I had. Mixability was poor too.Disappointing as previous purchases have been fine, will be returning them.
Smells and tastes like soap –
When I got my package I opened up the box and all I could smell was a soapy smell. Almost like tide detergent. It was so strong. I realized it was the plastic container so I took the powder out of that and put it into a large jar I had on hand with the scoop. Even after doing that the powder itself tastes like it’s contaminated with laundry detergent. It’s horrible. I don’t often write poor reviews and I’m generally easy to please but this is just horrible. I began to read other reviews and found that the brand uses recycled containers to package their product and that sometimes a soap residue is left after sanitizing. While I understand the benefit to the environment with recycling, I would urge the company to stop this because their product is saturated with whatever must have been used.I will be looking for a refund.

High quality product but only 4 stars because its a very small can compared to the typical offering from other whey producers. Forms a thin liquid when you mix 30g with half a cup of water so easily drinkable but not satisfying. You can taste the dark cocoa for sure. For something resembling Angel Delight’s chocolate mousse I mix it with 30g of ON Nutrition’s chocolate casein (blue label bag). This produces a delish dark chocolate tasting mousse. Note that as most suppliers use acesulfame and sucralose as cheap sweetners giving them a bitter after taste you may need to add a squirt of stevia liquid. Will buy again
