Minor issues but it does what I wanted it to
This is a pretty great little tool, albeit with one unexpected difference from the description. On my noise machine, the button that is supposed to be different fan noises instead plays a selection of lullabies. That part didn’t bother me since I wanted it for its white noise, but if that’s important to you, you should check immediately to make sure you received the sounds you expected. With that said, I’m pretty happy with my use so far. The power button requires a longer press so that you don’t turn it on by accident – however turning it off is immediate if you do need to turn it off. The timer works correctly when tested with the 30m and 1hr settings. The volume can get surprisngly loud. I keep it on the lowest or second lowest volume. When turning the volume up or down, it alerts you with a DING sound to let you know when you’ve reached the loudest or quietest setting. Charging is simple with usb-c, and the machine runs on its battery otherwise. There is a red indicator light (booklet says green) that lights up while charging and turns off to let you know when charging is complete. The only thing I haven’t found a way to see is when the charge is getting low to know when to plug it in.

The sounds are it’s only flaw
I love the design of this. I love how responsive it is. But of the 19 sounds, I think 17 or 18 of them should be replaced.In person, this actually looks 100 times better than it does in the pictures. And that’s saying something because it looks great in the pictures. The wood grain just looks good as an exterior for this device. The purple lights contrast it really well. You don’t even have to press the buttons. They’re not mechanical like that. You just barely touched them and they work. The power button is the only exception. It’s an actual mechanical button that you have to press down.Sound quality on this is pretty good. It’s clear, not muffled or tinny in any way. It sounds really for a white noise machine.The 30 and 60 minute timers are okay. I personally think they should have been a little longer to help you reach deeper sleep before they go off. Sometimes it takes people more than 30 minutes or even 60 to get to sleep. I had planned to use this without a timer. So it doesn’t affect me. But generally I think 30 to 60 minutes is too short.The reason I currently don’t plan to use this is because the sounds aren’t very appealing. For the manufacturer that should be a simple fix. The hardware is perfect. But the sounds and the music it produces need work. Most of the sounds are either unlikeable, such as crickets chirping or they’re jarrings, such as heavy waves rolling in. The rain sounds are more like a steady downpour than something light and soothing. If it were raining outside my house that steadily I’d have trouble sleeping because I’d believe my roof was about to come off. We need light rain, we need light fans, we need comfortable nature sounds, and we need soft white noise.As it stands, this was a beautiful idea in execution until it came down to the sounds it emits. And it’s really disappointing because I was so in love with the design that I would have nearly forgiven anything else if it only had a few good sounds to choose from or the ability to add your own. In my opinion, this currently only has 1 sound worth falling asleep to and after a while everyone needs variety.

Works well for blocking out noise
I got this sound machine to help drown out street and neighbor noise in my apartment, and it does the trick. The sounds are clear, and the volume goes high enough to cover up the background without being harsh. It’s lightweight, easy to move around, and for the price it feels like a good buy. Also easy to take along if you travel .Nothing fancy, but it works just like I needed it to.

Cool sounds and design, but disappointing battery life
I really wanted to like this sound machine because it has a lot of great features on paper, and to be fair, it does some things really well. The sound quality is surprisingly good — the tones are clear, not tinny, and it can definitely put out a strong volume for its size. There are lots of different sounds to choose from, including white noise, fan sounds, and nature options like rain or ocean waves. The variety is impressive and makes it easy to find something relaxing for sleep or background noise.The design is sleek and modern, and it looks great on a nightstand or travel table. The touch controls are simple and intuitive, and I like that the buttons light up slightly in the dark so you can find them easily. Functionally, when it’s powered and running, it performs very well.The main issue — and it’s a big one — is the battery life. It just doesn’t last long enough for overnight use. Mine usually makes it about five to six hours before dying, which means it can’t get through a full night of sleep. That’s frustrating because that’s exactly when you need it most. On top of that, it takes quite a while to recharge, so it’s not convenient to use daily unless you leave it plugged in most of the time.I’d also say that for a portable unit, this short battery life really limits how practical it is for travel or camping. You can use it while plugged in, but that kind of defeats the point of having a portable sound machine.To its credit, the sound selection and quality are excellent, and the overall build feels decent for the price. But with the charging time and battery limitations, it doesn’t fully deliver on what it promises.
