This is the best bang for the buck I have ever spent
This is the best bang for the buck I have ever spent. I didn’t know what to expect. the price was ridiculous compared to anything I saw in store. WMart. DHAMS easily 5 to 6 hundred. I am a machine nut now that I can no longer run and at age 67 I still pride myself in staying fit. I am a big guy at 6’2″ and 240 and this thing was a perfect match for me. Very stable and extremely well made.

Excellect buy for the money!
When my local gym closed, I began exploring my options. The next closest gym was about 8 miles away and cost approx. $375.00 a year. Since I rarely used any of the equipment other than the ellipticals, I priced them at the local sporting good stores and found that they cost anywhere from a $650.00 to over $1000.00. Then I found this unit on Amazon for a little over $200.00 dollars. I weigh 245 lbs. but it claims a weight limit of 250-265 lbs. I was suspicious of the low price but decided to take a chance. Delivery was ahead of schedule and the assembly instructions were clear and easy to follow. (Tools were provided) It took me about 45 minutes to put it together. As I said earlier, I am a large guy (6 ft tall and 245 lbs) and and I have used consumer grade gym equipment before. It is usually rickety and has a tendency to warp or break when stressed. While I cannot vouch for the long term durability of this machine, I can tell you that it has a very sturdy feel about it with very little shimmy or wobble Now for the negatives: 1. There is very little difference in resistance between the lowest and highest setting. I don’t know if this problem is just in my machine or in all machines. 2. Due to it’s compact length, there is a shorter stroke than many users may be accustomed to. It gave me a sensation off pedaling downhill and leaning into the hand grips. I solved this by placing 2 wooden posts (3 inches thick) under the front floor bar. (this doesn’t hurt your ability to level the machine, as the levelers are on the rear bar) 3. If you have very large feet you could have trouble with the foot cups. I wear a size (12- 4E) and I had to change to a less wide shoe to fit into the foot holderAll things considered, I think this is an absolutely terrific machine for the money. The problems are trivial and both the cost and the quality are excellent!.

If you just want to work out and don’t want a huge complex machine that fills a room, this is it
This was perfect for me. I was pleasantly surprised at how sturdy and secure it was once I started using it. Very quiet (a few squeaks) but smooth). Felt just as nice as the pricey ones I had tried out elsewhere. Some complain of the short stride – that was one feature I liked. I am 5’2″ and a 18-20″ stride was impossible to handle comfortably. This machine does not have the WiFi, video, bells and whistles of nice big ones but those are wasted on me anyway. I am not going to live on the thing. At my age the size is ideal. Only weighs @ 90-100 lbs. easy to move around, but too sturdy and steady to tip. I get on carefully anyway because I am cautious.Gives me a good workout. Was easy to put together IF YOU FOLLOW DIRECTIONS carefully. I personally thought the directions were excellent. Nice exploded view, (study it carefully, if anything seems missing or strange) and it emphasizes need to be careful when putting on the left side parts – screw threads go a different direction. What really helped, was that the screws, bolts etc involved in each step were bagged separately and labeled with the step number, a truly inspired idea in my book.

*UNABLE TO ASSEMBLE DUE TO A BAD NUT*
As I am putting this item together I noticed that part 59L and 59R are different even though they should be mirror images of each other. Part 59R (the nut) has some hard white plastic inside that doesn’t allow me to screw it on properly to the main body of the machine. The picture is attached to the review so right now the item is half assembled until I can figure this out. This item will get a 1 star and will be sent back unless I can get this resolved.

Good value
I have been using it for 2 years now, and it has held up well. I started with 3 workouts a week and am up to 5 or 6 now, and it’s a bit noisier than it was new, and I need to tighten up the bolts every now and then, but it seems like it will last a good while longer. In combination with low-sodium low-fat diet, I have been able to control my BP well enough to stop taking medications for it ( with my doctors permission), my HDL is rising and I have lost 10-12 pounds (not really trying to lose weight, it just happens as a byproduct, I guess)..I only use the speedometer part of the dashboard, so I can’t really say much about how well that works. I recommend this product as a good value elliptical trainer.

Super easy to follow instructions but I have held off …
The exercise machine was very simple to assemble because it is a very simple device. Super easy to follow instructions but I have held off on putting the protective caps on until I can get the machine to operate smoothly. It is just not as sturdy as I would have liked. But I am learning to take smaller strides to avoid causing the machine to flex and wobble. The screen on the readout is large and clear although I have no idea what it would be good for since the readings are inconsistent. I dont hate this machine but I would not recomend it for 200 lb people 6 feet tall. 4 stars for labeling and instructions. ( pictures need to be larger ) 4 stars for assembly ( use a towel to help hand tighten the knobs ) 1 star for durablilty and ease of use. ( its a small machine for small people )

Set up was fairly easy using a socket wrench
Set up was fairly easy using a socket wrench. It came with some tools, but step 3 requires you to screw in the two bolts that were super difficult to screw in because the tools that came with it stripped it and would not stay in place. I had to get a new bolt, which was near impossible to find the week of Christmas, but I got one, thankfully. Other than that everything went smoothly. It is very sturdy and quiet. Got it for my gf as her Christmas present. She loves cardio, but can’t always find time to get to the gym. I will say, however, if you are 6ft or take a pretty long stride, this is not for you. It seems to be built for a smaller person. I myself had a hard time keeping a good pace because the strides were pretty short.

I guess this would be okay, but the stride is only 13″, which means that it would quickly not be useful as one gets in better shape. To further it I found being 5′ tall, it was a real stretch to reach the handles and my lower back got sore after using it once. Took quite some time to put together and then to take apart and pack up in the box and it took them over 4 weeks to come and pick it up only after I called them several times to get it. I ordered another one that worked out really well!

Like others have complained, this machine started off with clicking noise and has gotten worse in the three weeks that I have owned it. It also makes me lean forward a lot putting a lot of weight on my arms. 30 minutes of light workout on this and I end up with wrist and elbow pain as, putting my weight on my spread out arms seemingly result in wrist and elbow joints grinding. I will have to return it. Apart from the deign flaw and some cheap bearings this product is good for the price. I would have no problems paying more if they can fix the flaws. As is I would not recommend it unless you are OK with using only the stationary handles.

There’s nothing wrong with this elliptical for the price point. It is lightweight and fits nicely into a small space.
