I think I got a defective pillow
It arrived with seams loose all the way around. Very disappointing:(

Comfy and Stylish, but Could Be a Bit Thicker
I’ve been using this velvet floor pillow for a while now, and it’s been a great addition to my living room—partly because my dog has a habit of claiming the couch! Sitting on hardwood floors isn’t ideal, but this pillow makes it much more comfortable, especially when I’m sitting cross-legged.Design and FeeThe burgundy velvet is soft and has a luxurious vibe, which I love. Depending on the lighting, the color shifts between rich and subdued tones, so it always looks elegant and fits well with the room. The tufted design keeps the filling evenly distributed, so it doesn’t go flat in weird spots, even with regular use.Size-wise, the 22×22 inches feels just right. It’s big enough for comfortable seating but not so large that it’s awkward to move around. When I’m not using it, it tucks neatly into a corner without taking up too much space.Performance and ComfortThe pillow is firm enough to provide support but still cushy, making it a nice spot to sit for extended periods. That said, I do think it could be a bit thicker—just an extra inch or so would make it perfect for hardwood floors. On the flip side, the thinner profile does make it easier to store and move around, so it’s a trade-off.It’s held up surprisingly well. Even with daily use, it hasn’t lost its shape, and the velvet fabric still looks great. I haven’t had to wash it yet, but since the cover isn’t removable, I imagine cleaning it could be a bit tricky. Better than a hard floor, but no clouds here
Sitting on this floor mat is definitely more comfortable than sitting on a hard wooden floor with a thin area rug, but I would not go so far as saying this cushion makes me feel like I’m “floating on a cloud.” The cushion arrived smooshed into a cylindrical plastic bag, and it was very difficult to pull out. I fluffed it up for a bit and then put it in the dryer on low for 20 minutes. After that, I let it sit out to settle before using it. Having used it a few times now, I’m not overly impressed by the cushion. The material is soft and the size is generous enough that it’s comfortable to sit cross legged on the cushion. I also like that it can be washed and dried (because life happens). Is it the “perfect balance of firmness and softness”? I would say no. It has good firmness, but could use some additional softness or bounceback or something. Maybe it would feel more cushiony if there was also a layer of foam or a gel pad on the inside in addition to the cotton fill. Overall, I like it enough to keep using it, but I don’t love it.

Won’t make a good floor pillow
This “pillow” is only a few inches thick and won’t provide much support on the floor. Sitting on it just squashes it down. Might work as additional couch pillow or add height to a chair that has same dimensions. Fabric is nice.
