Honest Performance Review
I give the WM3‑V4 Folding Squat Rack 5 stars. I love it. It is solid and feels safe when I rack weight. It saves a lot of space, which is why I bought it. The folding system is smooth once you get the hang of it and makes it easy to open when I’m lifting and close when I need the room. The dual pulley system is better than I expected. The five adjustable modes let me do most cable and functional trainer exercises I need. The pulleys glide smooth and don’t stick. It is not full commercial grade, but for a home gym it is more than enough and feels strong.Assembly was quick and easy. Once bolted to the wall, it feels solid and doesn’t move.Overall, this rack covers squats, bench, pull‑ups, and cable work in one setup without taking over my garage. For the money, space savings, and quality, I couldn’t ask for more.

Excellent rack for the price
Overall, this is a great rack, especially if you are looking for something affordable, foldable and including a cable system. It’s not perfect, but everywhere it falls short is only a small drawback, and doesn’t make it less of a value for the price.Assembly: The instructions are not great, but if you take your time with it it is not hard. You will definitely want a second set of hands to help. Go slow and double-check everything and it will be just fine. Since I was installing on a wall with studs and drywall, I bought 2x6s (cut to 5 feet) to mount to the studs. I chose not to install the backplate so I would have that space for storage. NOTE: The included mounting material will not work for installing through wood. You will need to get lag screws if you are not installing into a concrete wall.Cable System: It is very good. The weight horns run fairly smoothly on the guide rod, even more smoothly with about $5 worth of silicone grease. I will notice a little extra resistance if the weight is not evenly distributed on the horns (ex – a 25lb plate on one horn and a 10lb on the other) but not to the point of it affecting the movement. If you are a taller person, there are some exercises you may have to modify due to the 1:1 cable system (such as cable lateral raises). But small modifications make them work. The rack: The rear section of the rack is solid. Like REALLY solid. The part of the rack that swings open and shut is stable enough. There is some very slight side to side give when fully opened, even with the feet all the way down, but that would be expected in a pin-locked system. And the give is very slight. It doesn’t harm the cable system nor does it make the cage any less safe. I have used the rack for squats, presses, and other lifts. I have loaded 225 lbs on both the j-hooks and the safety arms without any sign of strain and I feel confident it can go much higher.I have now put this through 5 heavy training sessions and it has delivered on all 5. Zero complaints. There are quite a few spots where I could point out that this could be better, but nothing that I have pointed to and thought it was poorly done or unsafe. Besides, at sub $400, I’ve gotten way more out of this rack than that money probably deserves.

Worth it! if on sale…
The gym is great. Assembly instruction not too bad. Mounting to a cinder-block wall was a huge pain in the A. The mounting screws/sleeves are terrible. They can easily fall back behind the wall as they slide apart from each other when they should be threaded. Had to do some extra prep so they would hold in the wall while sliding the gym into position and then do one section at a time so the mounting screen didn’t fall through the sleeve behind the wall. Also one of the screws they sent was the wrong one and I had to go to ACE to find a replacement costing an extra $6… Other wise it works and the price was better than most.

Love it for it’s size and price
I had to get this gym due to the room size. I leave it in the 90⁰ setup, I cannot comment to how it is in other positions or folded. But, looks simple enough to adjust. The gym is sturdy. I have it attached to 2×6 boards that are anchored to studs. I use it on carpet. The gym came in 2 days, much faster than expected. Well packaged. No damage. Parts and hardware are all labeled extremely well. There are no written instructions, but the pictures are good enough to get the job done. Took 2 of us 3 hours to assemble. I’m 5’3, 145 lbs. It’s great size for me. The cable system moves smoothly. I sprayed with silicone, but honestly that didn’t make a difference. It’s quiet too. I do wonder is a taller person would have issues with range of movement. The pulleys may hit if pulled too far.Not sure? KEEP IN MIND, you have to purchase all the weight plates and accessories in addition to the gym. It only comes with simple handles that work fine. I LOVE the landmine attachment.I use a 5 ft bar with the gym. 2″ . It works with the j hooks ok. But, if you are doing extremely lifting, I’d go with 7″ to more easily be able to rack the bar. It’s tricky with 5 ft bar. Not a lot of room for error. The pull up bar is thinner than i typically see. But solid enough. Overall, I’m happy with it and get an AWESOME workout. If I had paid more, I would be less happy. Hope this helps!

should be higher
I liked it, it comes with everything you need, but I think it should be higher because when you pull the cable, it hits the height limit very quickly.

AMAZING QUALITY AND UNDER PRICED
Don’t search any further for a squat rack, buy this one! I spent HOURS searching for a squat rack that also had a dual pulley system, for the price this one beats every other one out of the water, my friend had a Rouge brand of this that is exactly the same but they bought theirs for $1,200. I did end up having a missing piece so once it is delivered I will upload pictures of the finished product. It is amazing quality and the best part is that it fold in taking up little to no space, we are building a home gym in our spare room and it leaves so much space for other things. This does require 2 people to build it, I’m sure if you’re a strong man than you may be able to build it yourself. If you pay close attention to the instructions it is an easy build. Also it doesn’t include in the description but it does come with weight plate pins as well as a couple accessories for the pulley systemUPDATE*** amazing quality customer service, I was missing a part and they were very quick to reply and send that missing part out
