This candle smells great. It has a very strong scent. Keep the wick trimmed and it will last for a long time. Yankee candles are the best especially when they are on sale. Stock up for holiday gifts.

I usually find vanilla scents to be too light. Not this one. Smells great. Burns slow. Good throw. Definitely worth a buy.

Not the Yankee candle I know and love
I’ve boughtYankee candles for many years and love this scent, but something has changed. I think it’s the use of soy oil in the wax.This one doesn’t burn as long, and seems to have less scent. Trimming the wick is messy, when the wick is covered in black goo that does not clean easily. Disappointed.

Yummy Vanilla Tapioca Pudding Scented to us
Pro: I purchased this brand and Vanilla Cupcake candle because I wanted to freshen up my apartment and also have an emergency power outage candle for when we have those California rolling blackouts to prevent electrical fires during summer heatwaves when air-conditioners are in high use. I don’t have one of those, but everyone is affected when our power company has to do it. I can rest easy with this candle in its own glass jar and it has a strong scent within a half hour of burning it that I’m not allergic to and my partner said he thinks it smells like a vanilla tapioca pudding rather than a cupcake, and I agree. My small senior apartment complex isn’t allowed to have candles that aren’t in a safe heat resistant glass container so this is perfect. It is important to trim the wick prior to using it and each time thereafter to 1/4″. Instructions are listed on the product box. Keep out of drafts to lessen the wick smoking and extend the life of the candle.Con: We moved the candle from the bedroom to the living room (which is much larger) because the candle scent becomes very noticeable after about 20 minutes or less in each room. If you have a larger home (mine is 600 sq. ft.) it may take longer to fill the entire home. I’m not sure if that’s a pro or a con, but I mention it because I suspect it depends more on how long you want to enjoy the pleasant light. I highly recommended it even though we are both sensitive to all fragrances. Hope that helps folks decide. I have enjoyed the second one I purchased even more because the weather has been pleasant enough to leave the windows open. Definitely a positive for me now!
