A few things to start.- I’ve tried Shakeology in the past and it was the worst tasting shake I’ve ever had.- I don’t believe in cleanses. This makes me a huge skeptic and honestly why I figured Id give this a try.- This is not just shakes. You will need to supplement the shakes with healthy food. If you did that on its own, you’d likely lose weight. I spent approximately $60 on food items listed in the guide. Probably didnt need to spend that much.- And finally, I broke off this the second evening because I had caught a cold. I did finish it out, but I needed to get more calories because of how tired I was.Day 1:Went mostly well. I should’ve taken the first shake earlier than I did and I didnt drink coffee. I stuck to tea. The diet does provide enough options and times to eat to satiated. Nothing physically noticeable. I was having sugar cravings that I chose to ignore. Not happy about it though.Day 2:Woke up with a headache that didn’t go away till I drank some coffee. Continued to follow the diet but switched from green tea to English breakfast tea. Did notice that the cleanse was working with my digestive system. After getting home from work I had to lay down because of how tired I was. I dont think this was the cleanse but the cold was wearing me out. For dinner I did drink the vanilla fresh but instead of one of the recommended dinners I made dinner. Still healthy but chicken was the main protein. Did again have the sugar cravings but again, chose to ignore them.Day 3:Woke up in the morning feeling great. Did add a yogurt smoothie to supplement calories. Again, had a cup of coffee but otherwise finished out the cleanse. Sugar cravings were considerably less noticeable.Notes:Overall, I feel pretty good, and I would say I feel refreshed. I think I should’ve planned a bit better and put more focus on having meals prepped for each day. One big take away I gained from this, I don’t need microwave lunches for lunch. I can easily get through a day with the right planning. My wife had been recently diagnosed with Celiacs’ disease so we’ve already drastically changed our diets so this wasn’t super hard for me. There were some down sides but that should be expected with such a limited diet. If I had any complaints it would be the price but if youre looking for a cleanse Im thinking this is probably one of the best well thought out ones Ive run across.

Yuck! Update
Yuck!! The fiber sweep is so gross. I’m not a picky person. I’ll come back after day 3 for a full review. As of now I’m trying to choke this thick chunky drink down.Update: this company personally reached out to me and rectified the situation the best way they could. I didn’t ask for anything. We need more companies that stand by their customers like this. Speaks volumes in my book.

Over priced and flavors are sub-par
Everything in this kit is solid. You get protein and fiber – which is helpful for any diet. And they give you suggested healthy meals to eat with this kit. So it’s a great overview of what people should be doing regularly.The problem is the chocolate shake is really not tasty at all – it’s bitter and needs more sweetness. This is not something you’ll want to drink – and when you’re trying a new diet the last thing you want is to have to choke down a poor tasting drink.On top of that the product costs a huge amount of money- then basically has you buy a lot of other expensive foods to compliment it. If you simply ate those healthy foods and bought a regular cheap but tasty protein shake you’d be in a better position and you’d save a lot of money.I am always skeptical of products saying you’ll lose 3-5lb in a few days. That is 90% water weight usually – or it just doesn’t happen. In this case I lost 1lb but it came back within a week. the shakes needed a lot of doctoring. The fiber was fine – but I get a lot of fiber in my regular diet.Ultimately – just way too expensive for products that could be improved easily.
