Quality materials and construction
I bought the Fitness Reality bench because of its design and low price. My expectations weren’t that great, to be frank. Its features are exactly what I was looking for-no bells and whistles-enabling upper body exercises at a variety of angles (such as incline, flat and decline bench press) and the bar holding one’s feet wasn’t heavily padded, which I’ve found to be problematic on other benches (I just need something to hold my feet when I sit up, not heavy padding as you would on leg machines).I was surprised to find that the bench and parts are made of high quality components, and are well-crafted: No cheap paint jobs that scrape off the first time something rubs against it, no thin, ragged metal edges or holes, and no cheap bolts and nuts that barely screw together with two wrenches. And, the welds are solid! The padding on the seat is likewise sturdy and well-sewn.The assembly instructions, even with a complete schematic, were very simple and clear: A child could follow them. The cardboard and plastic hardware container was likewise VERY well labeled, making assembly a no-brainer.I tried out the bench immediately to see if the function would match the form. Yep, it did: The bench easily supported my weight and that of my dumbbells (combined 345 lbs) with no rocking and no movement of the frame, including at the joint between the seat and the back. It feels very solid, yet it also seems lightweight. With its low price, I was expecting a functional but poorly-crafted piece of equipment. Instead, I feel like I got a well-made, useful piece of exercise equipment for a song. I recommend this product 100%.

Almost Perfect
PROS:SturdyFeels like quality materialEasy to assemblePriceCONS:Arrived with residue on seatISSUE:As many other reviewers demonstrated, the seat for some reason comes with some sort of residue on it. I thought it was from the tape because tape was stuck to it from the plastic wrap around it. The picture shows after I cleaned it with just soap and water and light scrubbing. The second shows a little bit of rubbing alcohol to dry the residue up more and I basically gently scratched it all off. It looks perfect now, but I would’ve liked to not have to have meticulously cleaned my new bench.BUILD:Anyway, regarding the build quality, it feels solid. I have a hand-me-down in one of the pics that show the size diff. This bench is more like a full sized one at the gym, whereas the old cheap CAP bench is much shorter. The CAP bench wobbled like crazy, even being securely put together, but this bench is perfectly sturdy and strong. I did some test reps on it and feel very happy with it. I may change my review over time, since I just received it, but I will see. I am a female that lifts 5 times a week, but I wouldn’t call myself a power lifter. For the price, it is really great for what I use it for. I do a lot of dumbbell and bench work, and if my old CAP handles the job well, this one should too. I’m only replacing that CAP bench because I almost fell off of it once with a dumbbell in the air over my head.PRICE:I did a lot of research before buying this. It is definitely worth it for the cost. The cruddy CAP bench I have is $60 on Amazon…for an extra $30 you get a HUGE upgrade.ASSEMBLY:The manual makes it look intimidating, but it’s really easy. It’s just 3 simple steps. Remove the pin to get the folded bar out. Attach the front and back end bar. Finally, attach the leg bar. All tools needed included. It took me 15 minutes total by myself.I don’t regret this purchase (yet…hopefully never). When I get a bigger place, I’ll probably go for the more expensive and higher quality Olympic benches. For now, this is a steal.

I bought this five years ago in April 2020, used it twice a week almost every week for free weights, and would recommend it to anyone looking for a foldable exercise bench.I’m a middle age man who is above average height and an athletic build (I’m not a body builder nor am I a lightweight). I’ve used this bench twice a week almost every week for the past five years as part of my full body free weight exercise routine. In all that time, I’ve never had an issue with it. Nothing broke, snapped, or made me concerned about the amount of weight I put on it (my body plus weights regularly goes above 400lbs static load). It has been exceptionally stable and I’ve not been concerned about tipping over. When not in use, I take 30 seconds to fold it up and cram it into a corner of the room to minimize the amount of space it takes.Is this a top of the line professional quality bench like your gym? Absolutely not. BUT it also costs about one fifth the price. It is exceptionally easy to fold and unfold, has a variety of options for seating and positioning for different exercises, is long enough to support your head, and just works. It is not light by any means, but it’s not heavy enough to make moving it around its own exercise (it has wheels too). My only con is that there is some surface rusting on some screw caps and certain parts where sweat may pool. But frankly that is probably my own fault as I don’t wipe it down after use (judge away internet).Setting up a home gym is already expensive enough, this is a good option to provide safe equipment at a reasonable budget. Save your money with this bench and use it to buy some better quality weights. Or a weight vest. Or bands. Or ice cream after you enjoyed your workout on some equipment that makes it more enjoyable.

E’ davvero un bel oggetto. Panca molto solida, facile da gestire per gli esercizi e da ripiegare in modo che non occupi tanto spazio in casa. Anche il prezzo non è esagerato per la qualità del prodotto. Comprata con gli sconti del black friday è stata davvero un affare. Sono molto soddisfatto e ne raccomando l’acquisto.

Excelente banco. Viene prácticamente armado, solamente tienes que ponerle las dos bases con 4 tornillos y está listo para usarse. Mido 1.87 cm y el banco que tenía que también compré aquí en Amazon marca CAP strength me llegaba hasta el cuello, no podía reposar la cabeza. Con este banco puedo reposarla sin problemas. Lo de qué soporta 800 libras creo nunca podré saberlo. Lo más que he cargado es lo que levanto en pecho que son 170 libras contando la barra, y mi peso, 85 kilos, 187-188 libras, por todo 357-358 y se siente sólido, el otro banco ya en ese peso se podía sentir que se movía bastante y este no. Me costó poco más de 3700, es caro pero creo que ahorita todo lo que sea para hacer ejercicio está carísimo. Y por lo bien que se siente si pienso que valió la pena. Tamaño perfecto para gente grande (mido 1.90 y ok). Por construcción y estabilidad no tiene nada que envidiar a los bancos de gimnasio (tuve un banco de decathlon, y nada que ver). Parecen buenos acabados… ahora toca meterle caña y ver que aguante tiene.
