Great Olympic weight bar
So far what I can tell this is a great bar. Feels good in my hands and the weight seems right on from just holding it. Decently priced, works well and the color is perfect for my theme.

Nice bar, however, the diameter is slightly under
**Background:** This is my second weight bar; my first is 20 years old, and it was time to upgrade.This is a great-looking bar; the red and black are attractive. However, the diameter is smaller than 28 mm. As soon as I gripped it, I knew it was smaller. I measured 27 mm with a cheap caliper. I got 44.6 pounds on an old bathroom scale, which is close enough for me. Interestingly, my original bar was 42.5 pounds. I had no idea, as I never weighed it.Positive:-Super smooth needle bearings for the sleeve part; crazy smooth.-The knurling diamond pattern is very nice, it’s on the softer side, hill type. Its small diamonds are grippy without being harsh.-The sleeve has a rough surface to better prevent weights from sliding. When I lift alone, I do not use collar locks, so the grippy surface is a nice compromise.-Nice mild flex or whip when loaded.Negative:-Bar diameter is smaller than stated.

This is a great bar. Has excellent gnarls, the length and weight is right on par. I think this bar has actually boosted my confidence.

Great quality barbell, a bargain deal!
I was really impressed with this barbell, especially given the value offered. I have had a black cerakote barbell from another brand, Tru Grit, for 2 or so years, and this one is mostly about the same feel and build! Knurling is medium, I would say more aggressive than a dumbbell, but nothing beginners won’t feel is rough at all. The weight of my barbell was 44.4lbs, but my scale I use only does 0.2lb increments, so I would say it’s within a good tolerance. The red color looks great and matches my red Mikolo P5R rack well, and in practice for about 5 sets, both upper and lower movements, it functioned great! I would love to see this brand offer other colors at this same quality and outstanding value. Recommended!
