Great for Kettlebell Workouts
These work great – really helped with my kettlebell workouts and preventing forearm bruising.

Helps a lot!
First used it yesterday during my kettlebell workout. I have a Pro Kettlebell, which is pretty ergonomic for a kettlebell, with divots/dips where your forearm is supposed to settle. But even with a Pro Kettlebell, I was still getting bruises. So I got these forearm guards and they work perfectly. My wrists and forearms are small, so I have to pull the straps all the way around. I thought there was supposed to be a piece of hard plastic woven inside the material, but it doesn’t have that. I was concerned that meant it wouldn’t protect my arms sufficiently, but I was wrong. It worked just fine.

Helpful thing but too pricy
No more wrist pain. Helpful thing for kettlebell lovers but too pricey.30$ for this is too much. It should be around 10-12$.4 stars because of price.

Great Find…
I had been using an old pair of my karate shin guards from back in the day of full contact sparring in the dojo. They worked but weren’t ideal in terms of fit. (The thickness of the padding was more than needed as well.)Got a pair of these wrist guards in the mail today and after a few minutes checking out some racks and presses, they seem to hit the sweet spot, (pun intended). The tender area between my radius and ulna is provided sufficient cushioning to avoid a bone or soft tissue bruise from repetitive contact. If the material, stitching and padding hold up…this will prove to have been money very well spent. I am encouraged, but have only had them on for minutes…not days, weeks or years.I will report back if any issues arise, but barring that, I would wholeheartedly recommend these based upon a few minutes doing some work with the KBs in my home gym .

My forarms are happy
These work great. I don’t get bruising on the back of my forearms anymore. These aren’t meant to protect you from being careless and slamming kettlebells into your arms with poor form but they do protect from the normal jarring that is unavoidable. Now I can workout with more confidence and lose the apprehension.

It gets the job done
Product support my wrist but I wish it could be better designed to get them on quicker. Kind of to just wrap around and velcro without putting them through the metal hooks.

Meets The Requirement
I waited nine months to post a review for this product to see how it stood up in summer weather. I use it for kettlebell workouts. It is particularly useful for snatches where the bell tends to hit the forearm. The guard: 1. Provides sufficient protection,2. Fits well,3. Is lightweight,4. Holds up well when I sweat, although I put the neck of a sock on my wrist for sweat absorption. It is a great buy if you work out with kettlebells.

The neoprene is not thick enough to provide effective cushioning. My snatch punch through technique is usually pretty good but of course I can get the timing wrong towards the end of a set, so some protection is needed. Unfortunately these don’t provide enough. They are also shorter in reality than the images appear to show. Definitely not worth £35. I’m sticking with the plastic guard in a sweatband style.

Just what I needed for double kettlebell jerks. Wearing these enables me to keep my Apple Watch safe and operating in workout mode without inconvenience, pain or concern about wellbeing of the watch. The buckles could have been a bit easier to operate (because, of course, buckling has to be done single handed).

I found the normal, usual wrist protectors that look like sweat bands for your wrists but have a hard plate inside to protect you from bruising, ACTUALLY hurt me and dug into my fat arms, so I hated using them. These are perfect because they protect such a long portion of your arm, and feel good! You need to strap them on tightly for them to stay in place, and I have no complaints at all. Love them and wish I’d had these all along. Who cares if I have wimpy wrists/arms, if I can still get good protectors. 🙂

Works well for kettlebell work, especially the rubberized kettlebells, lost a star because there isn’t a left and right to these forearm cuffs, and because of that the velcro strap will be right where the kettlebell will rest when cleaned on the left arm, applying a lame pressure to your arm, but overall a decent product.
