Perfect for any home or garage gym!
After months of research saving up, me and my wife finally decided to pull the trigger on the Drone 1 D1AW (cage only). Let me tell you, we are not disappointed. Upon arrival, we were very impressed by the packaging efforts made to keep the product safe during shipping. The assembly instructions were very easy to read, and assembly only took me about an hour. The D1AW came with weights for the power cable system that are very nice and the cabling system is extremely smooth. My wife loves the versatility of the rack that allows for any type of workout. It was a nice surprise that the power rack came with the accessories for the power cable system, including a wide and short bar, a rope, and two hand surrups. The power cage itself is very stable and made of quality materials. We most definitely feel that the product is worth every penny and are glad that we went with Major Fitness over some of the other brands we were looking at. We did have one component that was minorly damaged during shipping. I reached out to Major Fitness regarding the issue, and my customer service representative, Ray, responded back to me quickly and worked with me to resolve the issue in a timely manner. So, in addition to a very nice rack, we also received excellent customer service. All and all, if you are looking for a quality, versatile power rack for your garage or home gym, I highly recommend the Drone 1.

Great Quality Cage For My Basement Gym!
I bought this as a gift for my 15 year-old son to help with consistency in his strength training for basketball. He and his neighbor friend and teammate have been using it every morning religiously and it is holding up very well. I did buy some additional sturdy J-hooks to help with the heavier weighted squats, and overall it is a wonderful cage for the price. Very sturdy and high-qualit—and I love the variety of attachments, as does my son. It allows for a broad range of workouts for both upper and lower body. I got the aluminum pulleys, and I’m glad that I did they move smoothly. We have had the set for almost a year, and it is doing great with consistent use by the entire family! That’s nicely down in our basement and was easy to assemble with two people. It took around two hours. The only thing I think I would add would be a different type of Matt for that area not fitness squares —see picture.

A Great Power Cage
The Major Fitness Drone 1 Power Cage is an overall wonderful purchase for any weightlifting enthusiast. I bought the machine back in February of 2025 and it has been used nearly everyday since and it is still holding strong as a healthy quality to price point option. It is a solid machine and I am quite happy with the size and quality of the machine. I am 6’6” and can easily fit within the machine without having to duck and I am not worried it’s going to get knocked or pushed over as it weighs a little more than 200 pounds. Do be aware that it comes in in two separate boxes both of which weigh roughly 100 pounds.I am more than aware that there are better power cages on the market most notably from Rogue Fitness and Titan Fitness, both companies who consistently produce top of the line merchandise. However, their products are often beyond the price range of your average Joe, while the Major Fitness Drone 1 is affordable, offers a variety of functions, and can be upgraded over time.For one the versatility of the Drone 1 is fantastic as the built in cable system allows for an array of workouts, essentially making it one of the only big purchases needed for your home gym. I bought the “Power Cage Only” option as I already had the other items but if you opted for one of the other options available it could be your one stop shop for everything you need. Nonetheless, all the accessories that came with the basic option are quite nice and saved me from spending quite a bit more elsewhere.If I was to go back in time and repurchase the machine I would have definitely opted for the option with the aluminum pulleys. That is not to say that the basic pulleys are bad, in fact I was surprised by how smooth they feel when performing an array of exercises but I am sure they will eventually wear out and need to be replaced. Yet another benefit of the product’s price and versatility is the fact that Major Fitness offers an array upgrades or additions that one could add onto the machine.A side note that does not change my rating but is important to note for the review. When I received the Drone 1 a small plastic piece was missing out of part S 72 Casting or the pulley system that moves up and down on the front end of the machine (refer to photo in the review). Without this piece one of the pulleys was twisted up against the metal and could move, which rendered one side of the cable system inoperable. It was easy to contact their customer service and instead of sending me that small plastic part for one of my part S 72 Casting they instead sent me two brand new part S 72 Castings. This left me pretty pleased with the whole situation as I ended up with some extra parts and only missed a few workouts.

For the price, a solid buy for your garage gym.
For the money, this thing is pretty good. You will need silicone lube spray for the slide bars when using the pulley system or it won’t slide well at all. It takes 2 people to put this together and be prepared to spend 3 hours or more. Overall, pretty sturdy and very versatile and you can do a lot of different exercises.
