Nice rowing machine
This product works well and doesn’t take up a lot of space. I was worried it might not have a smooth motion, but it is very smooth and you can adjust the resistance easily.

Good machine for the cost
Package came well packed. Easy to put together and instructions are easy to follow. It’s easy to move around and resistance is good for beginners. Only thing is I was hoping for it to fit under my bed but the screen sits up to high even in the down position but overall for the cost it’s a great little machine.

Fun low impact/full body workout
Easy and fast to put together, hardware fits properly! Smooth and quiet operation, very comfortable and good range of tension available. Bluetooth connection easy to find on phone.Word of caution: look up the apps in the app store, the QR code was compromised! The apps look great, lots of variety and time/levels to choose from.

What a piece of junk Amazon sells ;I’ve had it 2 weeks and its broken, now (because I’ve been throught this same thing with 2 other rowers different companies from amazon) – its a great example of China’s inability to produce high quality lower cost merchandise…and it’s not just this brand, I’ve had a Sunnyvale brand same problem, but what a nightmare to get the part! I’ve also bought a Yosuda model – same darn problem in weeks, not months of use. Now the fix is simple: use steel rollers with ball bearning rollers with a steel housing. I’m not just whining because it’s junk, but I’m a disabled vet whose trying to get healthier and stronger. Amazon should take a real good look at their quality control, purchase satisfaction protocols – what takes the average person 20 minutes to put together takes m3 two days and that’s why they think that they are doing me a favor with replacement options – becuase my hands shake and can barely hold a wrench. A word to the wise should be sufficient – CAVEAT EMPTOR Beware the buyer! OH ONE MORE THING – if you’re going to provide the means to sell something, get a real telephonic U.S. based Customer Service team that is easy to reach and YOU get the part for the customer, because that’s what an well designed business model requires and be proud of those you build your fortune on.UPDATE: This company has reached out to make things right; Merach went above and beyond what I would have asked for and they did it on their own. This is a business that cares for it’s customers and I appreciate there professionalism.

Does NOT fold or store on its end.
I don’t believe that this is foldable, even though it’s right in its name. There aren’t instructions for it to fold and I can’t seem to figure it out. Also, it does NOT stand up on its end for wall storage. If someone can correct me on these things, I’d be very grateful if I’m wrong. I bought it specifically because it said it was foldable. I don’t see an option for asking a question about this item on its page.Otherwise… it works great and I love it! The price was right. It glides very smoothly. My husband had it set up within a matter of half an hour, or so.I like using it with the app and having the instructor-led workouts, and the different sceneries as an option. I downloaded the app on my phone, which only took a minute to do. The app connects with the actual rowing machine, so it keeps track in the app what I’m rowing, and all the statistics. I thought that was neat. Also, there are quite a number of different instructor-led workouts for each different level of difficulty: beginner, intermediate and advanced.I’m only 4’11, and I don’t have any issues with using it, like I do with some workout machines that just don’t accommodate the short legged. Even my 12 year, 4’9″ cutie enjoys using it.As a small, middle-aged, not fit woman, I find it very light to lift the seat end to roll it around the room to move (at least on hardwood floors. Haven’t tried it on carpet.) I was surprised at how light it was. Glad it has the wheels on the one end for moving.It makes virtually zero noise, so I can use it while watching TV with the family and it’s not annoying anyone. It glides really smoothly. It’s not at all a bulky machine, which is nice. (I still wished it folded or stood on end to store out of the way, though.)As far as resistance goes, there is definitely a difference between the first and last setting, especially after a number of minutes of working out, you can really feel it. I don’t think anyone is going to get super buff using this machine, like you would with lifting heavy weights, but someone could definitely get very toned and strengthened with regular use.I’m only giving it four stars, because I don’t believe it folds like it’s advertised. I really hope somebody can tell me otherwise. I will change my rating to five stars, if I find I’m wrong.

I’m impressed with the quality of this machine, especially considering the price. It looks and feels like a high quality piece of equipment. It’s not a Concept II, a Waterrower, or a Matrix, but they cost several times what this machine does. This one is also more compact than the club level machines, and it is easy to pull it into an upright position for storage. The rowing action is smooth, and the magnetic resistance works like a chram.Assembly was straightforward. I’m puzzled by the complaints that it is complicated or hard to understand – the pictures made it pretty clear what goes where, and it was easy to put together.My one minor complaint is with the footrests. Unlike other machines with which I’m familiar, they swivel as you row back and forth, and the downward heel travel is too much. Fortunately, I was able to fix this with the roller pads from my weight bench, which fit perfectly over the bars underneath the footrests and greatly restrict the motion. I’ve ordered a pair to go permanently on the rowing machine at a cost of about $16.
