Amazing value!!!
I wasn’t sure how much light I needed and how much I was going to ride in the pitch darkness so tried my luck with this package and was not disappointed. For $60 I got this light and a really great rear tail light. Niterider is a brand to trust so felt good about that. The 650 micro is a tremendous amount of light! I ride approx 2 miles on a lite paved bike trail and another 5 miles on a dirt fire road in the pitch darkness and back. So roughly 14-16 miles round trip. On the street part I’m in lowest setting to not blind the poor pedestrians who get an eye full even at lowest setting. Once I’m on the trail I goto the brightest at 650 and it’s plenty of light. I have a helmet mount but prefer it on my handle bars. Having it set lower allows me to see the shadows of the terrain so I can better maneuver around bumps, rocks and debris. When it’s mounted high on my helmet not so much. And you have to keep your head pointed in one direction where if it’s on the handlebar you are free to look up to stretch your neck or twist your head side to side or glance at the sunset without your bright light bugging the wild life, ha ha. If I rode a lot and did more technical rides I would probably get another and mount on my helmet. But to be honest I’m also not a fan of looking like a dork with a light on my helmet. I’m still not excited about wearing a helmet period but am slowly accepting how goofy I look with it. I also like how the run times are 2 hours on 650 lumens. If you look at the more powerful lights, especially the boosts, you’ll notice that while they are brighter, the runs times are much less. I’d rather have 2 hours on 650 than 1 hour on 1200. Plus my friend has a 1200 boost and when comparing in dark backyard, there really isn’t that big of a difference. I’d rather buy another set like this, $120 total and have two 650’s and an extra rear light. One on my handlebar and one on my helmet. Would be tons of light. As added bonus the light is a useful flashlight year round. I mean this little thing is an insane value as not only a bike like but also a rechargeable flashlight. Anything with similar specs from pelican, fenix, sure fire, etc would be double the cost easily. If I ride just street I’m not sure I would use this because it’s almost too much light. For mtn biking in the pitch dark it’s more than enough. It’s an incredibly tiny package…I’m shocked technology has come this far! Unless you are a total light snob and have way too much time and money to spend, you’ll find this more than adequate for light to moderate mtn biking in the pitch dark! Have fun!!!

Bright and Reliable Lighting for Safe Rides
This front and rear bike light combo pack has greatly enhanced my visibility during night rides. The front light provides an impressive 650 lumens, illuminating the path ahead and making me easily noticeable to motorists. The rear light is also effective, with a bright 110 lumens that ensures I’m seen from behind. Both lights are lightweight and easy to install, and I appreciate the various lighting modes that allow me to adjust based on conditions. Overall, this set offers excellent performance and peace of mind while cycling in low-light environments.

Works great
Works great. Confusing because it has gone into lock mode without me holding the button for the necessary period.

Like These Lights
I bought the head and rear lights for my road bike. They both work great and was a big upgrade from my previous light set. Pay attention to the lock mode feature when first turning on. You may need to press the on button for several seconds to engage the light after transportation from the seller. Otherwise, it may seem as though the light did not charge. I bought a second light for my backup bike as well

This is an economical bicycle light set
I like to ride my recumbent trike in the morning, leaving at first light before sunrise, or leaving before sunset and riding the last half of my 15 mile ride as the sun is setting. I’ve had Nite Rider headlights before, and I thought they were bright, but I was amazed at how bright this 110 lumnen tail light is, and even more amazed at how bright the 650 lumnen headlight is. Charge time is 2 -1/2 hours and run time for the headlight is from 2 hours to 12 -1/2 hours depending if you want to use the brightest mode or the lowest mode. Similarly, the tail light will work on the brightest mode for 1:45 hours and up to 17 hours using the lower modes. The USB charging mode is easy to use, the lights are easy to take on and off the mounts on the trike.
