This is a great walking stick. It’s lightweight but sturdy. It is very easy to assemble and I really like that its height/length is adjustable. Got it in grrrn and I love it.

A great walking pile at a great price.
Excellent poles at a great price. Foldable, weight adjustable and very sturdy. Comes with a few kinds of tips you can use depending on the surface. It even has a nice carrying case with handle to carry on your side.

Lightweight, strong, and can hold my weight on a slope or stairway
Three weeks ago, while hiking down a steep slope in the Sierras, I tripped on a root and plunged forward down the slope, head first into the huge boulders. I was using my dad’s old, telescoping hiking stick, and when I tried to stop my fall, it telescoped and I fell. Ended up with a concussion, badly bruised shoulder, elbow, knees and a bone bruise on my hip. I was lucky to be alive after striking my head full force on the boulder. After I got home from the trip, I searched for a hiking pole that I could lean on with all my weight when needed, without it telescoping. That’s when I found these Z-style hiking poles. They are perfect and can support weight without telescoping, and are lightweight, easy to set up or break down for storage. They are also beautiful. I am still limping and recovering from the fall, but went to a local museum and also a local hiking trail, this week, and the poles supported me on both steep trail and on steep stairways at the museum. I highly recommend these hiking poles to anyone. They are also beautiful and have a clean look, without the big plastic joints that telescoping poles come with, and the longer handle is great for not only walking, but getting up from sitting on the ground. I am a fisherman and photographer so I go into the wild regularly and these poles will never leave my side.

Excellent trekking poles for the money, as far as I can tell
This is the first set of trekking poles I’ve used/owned, so can’t really compare them with brand name or more expensive models. But these seem to do the trick just fine, and seem durable enough. The only reason for a star off is the clamps are made from cheap plastic, and do not instill much confidence in longevity. Also, the humongous logo and website printd on each pole is obnoxious. I will be covering that up with a marker at some point.Being new to trekking poles, and kinda thinking they were a bit overkill for most situations, after owning these for just a week I’m already a convert. Not only do they take weight off my knees, which can wear out after longer hike, but after watching some how-to videos about proper use (hands going up/under in the straps, using the poles to propel), I’m finding a surprising amount of upper-body exercise from using them for uphill climbs, downhill bracing, and general rocky/rooty trail balance.I am far less worn out after long hikes, and doubling up the fitness benefits during a hike is well worth the investment in trekking poles. Can’t see myself ever hiking without them, even just for the upper body exercise. They are almost like adding oars to your walking stride, once you get the rhythm going. The benefits of these surprised me, I thought I was going to find them to be a niche situation item, but I plan on keeping them with me for every hike in the future.

Exactly what I was looking for
I haven’t used many trekking poles so I’m new to this cause I used to hate to carry poles. So far I’ve taken these on a couple dry ground hikes, but mostly ground covered in snow. I take them up pretty steep mountain hikes and rocky terrain and put a lot of pressure on them going up and down hills. I was skeptical about them being able to take that much stress. I thought they would eventually start coming loose, the shaft sliding and becoming shorter, the snap to pop out and the pole to collapse while hiking, the locks to come loose or break, the feet to get damaged quickly because of the rocky and ice terrain. None of that yet and I hope they continue to be strong cause I Plan to go on some very long hikes (100+ miles). I got these specific poles because of the weight, the collapsible size and the price. I do both hiking and trail running so I needed something that would collapse fairly small and lightweight so I could stuff them in my smaller trailrunning packs. I also need to pack lightweight for my longer backcountry hikes coming up and these seem to be nice and light and I feel comfortable carrying these because of size and weight. The cork grips are nice and comfortable and the straps don’t slip and I’ve pulled on them to test it. I’ve only used the poles without any of the foot attachments so I can’t review the durability of those. I think they look good as well, which doesn’t really matter as far as functionality, but I figured I would mention that. Hopefully they continue to hold up cause in my near future hikes I am planning to use a trekking pole tent.

Good Tough Trekking Poles, Used In Any Terrain
Followed the instructions it very easy to assemble, very sturdy, well made product. Familiar and easiness to adjust the length on both poles. Marketing pieces on the use of the trekking pole and how to use and assemble, Consistency between different medias like video, website, printed material that came with the shipped product. A variety covers depending on your terrain you are hiking which can be slipped on and off easily while protecting the carbide tip. The poles came in a black handy bag and draw string which holds the two poles and covers for the carbide tips.

Strong and steady, well made.
I have balance issues and needed a pole that would support me without telescoping closed. These have a positive locking clamp able to support my weight when most needed. Easy to open and close with a comfortable handle, just what I needed…j
