I’ve never written an Amazon review. I hemmed and hawed for at least a month; researching freestanding pull-up bars. I almost dropped $400 on a big-named, fancy setup. Ultimately, ordered this one (no dip bars) and was shocked and extremely surprised when I assembled it (which was easy; ratchet and wrench) and threw a set on rings on it. I’m 187 lbs, this thing DOESN’T move; it’s a freaking beast. I’m 6’0, can’t fully dead hang on it but I have to stretch to grab the bar. Anywho, it’s good.

Great pull-up bar for building your back
I have been using this pull-up bar for three months now and I am very happy with it. Very sturdy, no wobble , assembly was strait forward but having a ratchet wrench made assembly and tightening the bolts much easier. I assembled it alone without any issues, it took a few hours to assemble. The height of the bar is 84” above the mat. I believe this is the highest possible setting and any higher would not work given the height of my basement ceiling (~93” above the floor mat). I use this rig primarily for back exercises working up to do unassisted pull-ups. I use the included dip handles to perform inverted rows. I use resistance bands to perform assisted pull-ups (see photo 1 for my configuration). I also use resistance bands and a bar to perform lat pull-downs (see photo 2 for my configuration). I use this setup three times a week. I also use the pull-up bar alone for doing negatives. All in all I’m very happy with this rig.

This is a quality item! It is super easy to assemble (I assembled it myself quickly). All you need is a wrench set. The directions are super well written (very intuitive) and only one page. You will receive exactly the right number of nuts/bolts/washers. Very importantly, the machining of the holes and heights of everything is perfect. All the holes match up as they’re supposed to. You will need to jostle the two posts a bit to get it to the right height, but that is to be expected as they adjustable height posts should not be loose. This beats any ROGUE version of a pull up bar both in quality and price. If this had a ROGUE label on it, then it would be close to $1000 since they have a few versions of pull up bars. Anyway, save yourself some serious money. Last thing I’ll say is it’s super stable. I can just leap right onto it and it doesn’t wobble. If I ever need to design a mechanical item then I’ll try to track down the team and factory that made this pull up bar. Love it.

This is what you’re looking for
This is the pullup bar you’re looking for. Use my experience to help you with this purchase. There are quite a few cheaper options out there, but a pullup bar with the supports on the ends is what you’re going to want. I “saved” some money and went a more economical bar first and the cheaper options are narrow and the supports get in the way of your grip. This pullup bar allows you to use your natural reach to grip the bar and that made all the difference for me.Do yourself a favor and spend a little more the first time. You’ll be glad you did. Not only is this design simply better, it’s much sturdier and better built than the more economical options.

Amazing for muscle ups!! I was going to get the rogue bar but couldn’t pull the trigger
I wanted a heavy duty bar to be able to do muscle ups. I was researching and found multiple pull up bars including this one and the rogue. I decided to take a risk and buy the seleware and I don’t regret it at all. Super easy to setup and it’s durable. Impressed great job!

Globalement c’est un très bon matériel qui permet de faire des tractions en sécurité.Cette station de traction conviendra bien à des personnes ne dépassant pas 1m80. D’autres part j’ai eu une vraie difficulté à visser une des deux goupilles, cela vient manifestement du pas de vis à l’intérieur d’une barre carrée qui ne permet pas d’aller jusqu’au bout. Enfin je m’interroge sur la fiabilité du produit en extérieur, donc soumis aux intempéries, sachant que le fabricant ne le destine pas à cet usage .
