Great value
Bar is very sturdy and suits my home gym need perfectly. I’m an average guy who’s been lifting for over 20 years and I think this is suitable for most home uses. It might not be enough if you’re a beast of a lifter but if you are a average to slightly above average with your strength workouts, this is just fine. It looks great too.

Heavy duty tricep bar
First of all this bar is heavy duty. It came with small knicks and scratches, this is understandable due to the bar being so heavy. The chroming on the bar is average, not much shine on it. I didn’t feel the packaging was good enough to protect it during shipping. There is molded styrofoam in the box but what didn’t make sense to me was that the very ends of the bar were not protected with styrofoam. It is only natural for the delivery person to stand the box up on it’s end due to it’s weight. The ends of the bar have no protection and my box had tears on the ends in which the ends were just protected by cardboard. The welding on the bar are obviously amateur, it looks like it was done by a high schooler in welding class. For the price I paid for the bar it should’ve been a little higher quality.

Get the red one
For whatever reason, whenever I load the red one, I always slap more weight on it than normal. Then I get all aggressive with it, crank out an extra rep or two. I’m sure its the same quality as the black or chrome but just grabbing the red bar gets me all fired up. Quality is excellent as is the finish, totally worth it. Whenever I need another bar in the future its gonna be a Synergee (as long as they still make them in red!).

This is 3rd Synergee bar I own. All are Excellent quality.
This was my 3rd purchase of a Synergee bar. I have this one (it’s called the tricep bar.) I also own the EZ-curl bar, and their “hammer” curl bar. (They call the hammer curl bar the Super Easy Curl olympic bar.) All of them are of excellent quality and fully met my expectations. I wish I would have bought more of their equipment because some of the brands I bought on here for other types of lifting equipment are sh*t. Don’t hesitate, you will like these bars. Personally I bought the ones that have the Black bar with the 2″ chrome sleeves but I doubt that it matters if you went with the all chrome.

WOW! Very disappointed in this product
This was my first experience with this company and man, was I disappointed. I tried to order the red tricept bar but it has been out of stock for months so I decided I’d go for the black one. Weighing in at about 27 pounds, I received it and was so excited. I opened up the well sealed box to find a huge disappointment. Paint was already coming off the bar and it was very sticky to the touch. As pictured, the shiny places are where it is sticky and I’ve pictures of where the paint was already rubbed off. You’d think this would have been powder coated but looked as though it was sprayed with Rustolium from a can. Anyway, I placed it back in the box and contacted Synergee who wanted pictures before the return which I provided and then they told me to send it back to them through Amazon. I don’t know if this was a fluke or this is how they roll but I was very disappointed in their results. Good luck with your purchase and I hope it turns out better than mine.

Great quality and solid bar. Nice addition to my home gym. If you are looking for a solid triceps bar consider this one.
Lee Neville –
Very happy with this bar. Knurling is great! Good spin on collars. Good construction and paint/coatings. It’s a short bar but great for hip thrust and tri work. It’s heavy, pretty sure the bar is solid steel. Very happy with it, no flaws in construction or shotty work.i have two Synergee bars and honestly they are really good. Yes there are better bars out there but for the average guy in his garage these work just fine.

Awesome and very sturdy. Someone with wide shoulders might find the handles a little too close to each other. The bar is pretty heavy. Very good quality product.
