Another Excellent Product from Yes4All
This is a great barbell. The chrome finish is quality, but I especially appreciate the tight fit of the collars to the bar, as well as the rubber grommets that keep them snug during use. I also own Yes4All’s curl bar and dumbbells, and I can say the same for each of them. Moving forward, I plan to stick with Yes4All for their consistent quality.

When doing double arm curls I had to bring my wrists closer together than shoulder width to ensure my hands were under the angled portion where you must hold (palms facing up). If you are an avg woman you likely wont have to do this. I am a tall woman with larger shoulders so it messes up my form for this action and made the 31lb lift feel fsr more difficult than lifting 20-lb dumbell on each arm!

Budget doesn’t mean cheap
I’ve been an advocate for Yes4All products for a while as they have released some great budget options in the fitness market. This barbell is no exception; however, there some things that glaring that needs to be addressed.First off, the chrome finish on the bar is very lackluster. It looks like the bar was coated with some cheap chrome finish and too much was applied in some areas, having build up on the collar near the sleeve. Additionally, if this finish chips, it will be very prone to rust. The bar had some knicks in the chrome finish already when received. In this department, I can understand spending $40 more for an XMark bar would be worth it.Secondly, the bar is claims to be 17.6lbs, but after weighing the bar three times, it actually weighed 17lbs. Not really a HUGE deal, that’s nearly a full pound difference. Luckily, it’s an interger and not a decimal number for OCD people like me.Lastly, if you’re a knurling snob, you better look elsewhere. The knurling isn’t the greatest, but I genuinely think a $8 roll of grip tape would solve that problem.Overall though, the value for this ez bar is pretty solid and the sleeves spin extremely well. If you’re using this primarily for arm exercises and maybe shoulders/traps, this bar is perfect. I would just highly recommend getting 3-in-1 oil and applying it every 1-3 months.

The missing rubber gets loose easily because of it, it was supposed to be included, can’t seem to contact the seller sadly. Hope he sees this and sends the missing rubber part. ThanksOther than that, great bar was delivered promptly. Just need the rubber to give 5 stars.
