The standout for me is the standout (pun intended), you can extend it a good 8 feet before it starts to droop, which makes solo measuring way easier.Numbers are bold and super easy to read, and the lock holds firm without slipping. The case feels solid and has should survive a few drops off the ladder without a scratch like it’s predecessor. The belt clip is tight but handy. It’s nothing fancy, just classic Craftsman quality that does exactly what you need it to.

Great quality tape measure
I absolutely LOVE this tape measure! It feels good in my hand. The auto locking mechanism is very helpful and I love that you can lock it in place if you don’t want it to move. It can go out to a little over 7 and a half feet without breaking, so taking longer measurements alone isnt an annoyance. The quality is great. It’s sturdy and durable! Great value!! Best 25′ tape measure on Amazon for the price

My one real gripe is the lack of metric markings, which would make it more versatile for certain precision tasks or imported materials. Also worth noting: the one I received is red with a yellow tape, which looks different than what’s pictured, but it still performs just fine. Overall, this is a dependable, no-fuss tape that holds up to real work — whether you’re framing a wall or measuring four times because you still don’t trust your first three numbers.

This is a great measuring tape to hang on your belt with easy-to-read markings. I don’t need to measure fifty or sixty feet or carry the weight. My only observation? Just a little small for older eyes.

I really like the ease of use of this tape measure. It provides quick visual markings whether it’s 7/8 or 3/8 no more counting lines. Has clear foot markings and inches for quick measure and reference points. I also like the fact it locks as you roll it out and easily unlocks to roll back in. Super handy when measuring a long piece of wood or a wall for baseboards etc.Will it last? is the only question but feels solid and am hoping for the best.
