Great tools for measuring fitness goals
As a personal trainer I was looking for a caliper to measure body fat on my clients. This works great. The tape measure is also great. I do feel the BMI is a little off but as shown to be accurate when I hand calculate clients information. All these tool are great and do work for what the are intended for. Price fit my budget perfectly.

An approximate measure of fat.
The kit is good enough in what it contains. The calipers are a bit of an issue as it’s difficult to determine when they “click” as described in the directions. At any rate, with or without the “click” you’ll have a good idea of how much body fat you are carrying. If you are interested in that, then you’re headed in the right direction as you already suspect that it might be too much. Determining status is the easy part. Good luck to all in their quest for better health.

Measuring tape works well and easy to use for body measurements! I love it! I’ve been taking my body measurements for years and can’t believe I didn’t get this a decade ago.BMI wheel is kind of cool, if a bit unnecessary for individual usage considering how easy it is to get your BMI. I found the caliper difficult to use, but that is probably just me and I’d likely have trouble with any caliper. The guide and instructions weren’t particularly helpful though.

Too cheaply made to be acurate
The plastic components of the caliper are too cheap and flimsy to give an accurate reading. You are supposed to hear/feel a click when the appropriate amount of resistance is hit on the cliper, but the plastic pieces that are supposed to “snap” together don’t fit together well enough to make this happen. Would recommend buying a higher quality device. The measuring tape seems fine.

Poor design for caliper
The caliper is poorly made. It’s impossible to get accurate readings because the device that is suppose to “click” either gets stuck on the plastic arm or clicks into place before it even makes contact with your skin because the measuring tool that slides makes it click to early. I do not recommend this product.

This toolkit was exactly what I was looking for. I had some trouble trying to get the measurements initially but the step by step manual was very helpful! I would definitely recommend to anyone that wants a more exact body fat percentage or wants more than one way of measuring their body fat.
