Back in 1999 Komelon came out with the Gripper and its design was revolutionary. We took this design one step further and added our Speed mark fractional graduations to the blade. The 25-Feet Gripper speed mark has an easy grip, thick rubber jacket surrounding its ergonomic compact case. The blade on the Gripper speed mark is acrylic coated and has fractional graduations printed on the blade making it quick and easy to read. When you reach in your tool belt for a tape measure, make sure you feel the Gripper speed mark because everything else is substandard.
EASY READ – Printed fractional graduations on blade
WHITE BLADE – Reduces glare for easy readability
IMPACT RESISTANT CASE – Thick rubber jacket provides superior protection
PROTECTED END HOOK – Ensures accuracy even after accidental drops
STUD MARKINGS – Printed every 16 inches on the blade
HIGH CARBON STEEL – Provides the most durable blade and retraction spring

Love this green tea Mask
Here’s a short review in English that you can post on Amazon for that Komelon tape measure:⸻⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ Great quality and easy to use! This tape measure is sturdy, accurate, and comfortable to hold. The numbers are clear and easy to read, and the lock works smoothly. Perfect for everyday projects—highly recommended!⸻Would you like me to make it sound more casual, professional, or funny? I can adjust the tone.

I keep buying these
For some reason I keep losing these or they are “walking off”.But these are great. I am just a DIY’er not a tradesman etc. so it is helpful to have the extra measurement on the tape measurer .Feels solid. Thick tape so I can reach a lot of long lengths without it collapsing on me.I can’t even recall how many I’ve bought? (My guess probably 10-12) I have them in my house, car, different benches in my garage, my shed, etc.Would recommend. Would buy again. You will probably buy a few once you get yours.

Easy to read XXL print.
THIS IS GREAT TAPE MEASURE!!! The numbers are big, beautiful and clear. No counting notches, the halves, quarters, and eights are written to make measurements easy, fast, and more accurate. The tape feed is very smooth and superior to most other tape measures. I’ve used. The price is even great!

The best tape measure I’ve owned
Standard for all my reviews: When reviewing products, I always remain objective and honest about the product or service. I always review with information that I feel others would like to know about the product as I always assume what I’m writing will influence for or against the purchase. I always try to go above and beyond surface characteristics and input into quality, value and application. Most importantly, I will always end the review with an answer as to whether I’d purchase the product again which I believe is the most critical question pertaining to the item. To manufacturers: Want me to review your items, just let me know!I love this Komelon Gripper Speed-Mark tape measure. My old thin/cheap one that I used upstairs finally pushed me to the brink to the point where I wanted a new one. I have a Craftsman that I use as well but that is in the ‘shop.’ If you’re using a cheap tape measure, you know the dance of trying to get the tape to stay extended with our bending because of the cheap gauge of metal used in the tape. Not so with this Komelon. It’s extremely sturdy. In fact, while holding the tape measure I can extend it almost 8′ unsupported before it ‘breaks.’ Pretty incredible.Additionally, the gray tape is very easy to read and I love the measurements being listed in 1/8 increments with unlisted 1/16 marks as well. The roller mechanism is smooth and the locking mechanism sturdy and secure.A tape measure is one of those things easy to skimp on early in life when you don’t understand the difference quality makes. And then when you upgrade, you’ll never go back. This is the case with this Komelon and it’s an easy repurchase if I need another one. I’ve even considered replacing my trusty Craftsman.

Does what it supposed to
The tape works well. I was expecting one that you can just pull out how much you need and it stops by itself. This one you have to unlock and lock which is harder when you want to measure and much harder when retracting as you cannot control the speed.

Feel the Quality! Very Well Made!
Very well made. Will do an almost level standout of 7 feet. Way better than most tape measures I have spent 2 to 3 times the cost of this one.Lock works perfectly; Not too tight or too loose. Tape edges are not sharp. Easy to read. Fairly heavy and very solid. Rubber outer casing works well to prevent slippage.U.S. brands need to take note of this company’s quality and price point.I don’t know how it would hold up in a professional setting, but for $10 and home use I don’t think you’ll find anything better. The one I got was a product of S. Korea assembled in Viet Nam.

Nice and Sturdy
Feels nice real nice and sturdy. It is durable, with a thick, sturdy blade that extends up to 11 feet without bending. The lock feature makes measuring easy and precise, while the ergonomic, rubber-grip case ensures comfort and control. A reliable, high-quality tape measure for any project. Highly recommended.

This is an incredible secondary measuring tape. I have already been using the 16ft high res version of this at work for some time– great for quick wood cutting measurements or figuring out the size of the pipe you need to adapt to.I say secondary because in Canada specifically, having a main tape that’s a little more heavy duty and has metric is very useful for European, Arabic and other international clients who most often provide measurements in metric, so it takes the Googling/Math out of the equation, whereas the Komelon SM5425 is all about quick imperial measurement and I’d give a 7/10 in regards to build quality– not the toughest, but still FAR better than anything else I’ve seen or used in this price range. The tape stand out (extending it as far as you can in the air before it breaks) seems to be around 10-11ft. All the black portions you see in the picture are rubberized while the white is a hard plastic. The belt clip has a little side-to-side give, which is needed if you hook it directly to your waist so you don’t bruise your sides while leaning over. The greyish tape itself is quite non-reflective so if you’re working outside or under large lamps, you don’t need to worry about the direct light getting in your way. It has a decent heft for a 25ft– not the lightest and not the heaviest I’ve used, but a good balance for larger hands.Overall, for the price, this tape is outstanding if you do NOT need metric and I’ve found it very useful for most woodworking and plumbing applications. If this helped, please click the button below!
