Stanley Powerlock 12 foot tape measure model 33-312
A light weight tape measure. Works great on a belt all day. I didn’t know the first 12 inches were marked in 32nds but it doesn’t matter for what I need.

False. Not metal. Will be returning until I get some that are metal.Update, Stanley was unable to help me get the one I actually wanted, even when contacting them directly. I was given a free engineer’s tape measure (has decimals on half – not helpful for carpentry), but only because the first representative was extremely rude and disrespectful.If you want a metal casing, and are good with a slightly narrower blade, try the 33-212. I am a woodworker by trade, and I use those every day.
