Naturally produced white noise
This is a nice device. Ive used other ‘generators’ but they all seemed unnatural, not really random noise, it’s like I could sense a repeating pattern on the noise. This is a fan where you can increase the fam speed, and twist to open or close the space the fan has to make noise.It’s a neat design and helps with my tinnitus at night. I’d buy it again.

Sanity-saving real fan white noise without blown air
I learned about this sound machine with the built-in fan at a baby store and immediately knew I needed one for myself. I highly recommend this model to anyone who prefers the sound of a real fan but doesn’t want to run a fan or doesn’t have one with a satisfying pitch and volume, or folks who can’t stand the artificial, tinny, or obvious looping of digital white noise equivalents. I use it all night to help block out my snoring partner and cats, and now many hours of the day as well that we have a baby sleeping in our room. While it may not have quite as many extra features as some of the brand’s other models, the natural fan sound is best for me and I greatly appreciate the customizability of the pitch and volume. For me, it is absolutely worth the price and helps improve this very light sleeper’s sleep. The night light is very useful too, especially now with a newborn in the room with us. I have a couple “wishes” for this item — that there were smaller steps between volume levels and that the buttons on top had some kind of tactile indication so you could identify them more easily in the dark — but aside from that I am very satisfied with this machine and will happily purchase one again if needed in the future.

Yes You Need It!
I loved this so much I buy them for everyone! I even bought a travel one because I cannot sleep without them now. They are perfect and adjustable with sound. Has a nightlight and timers. The size is perfect for my nightstand and the buttons are super user friendly. This is one item that I absolutely recommend to anyone with sleep issues of any capacity! The quality is amazing and I will always have one of these with me for bed!

Great idea, bad internal parts
I bought two of these. One for each of my kids. I have them each sitting on their night stands next to their beds. They both worked great for the first few months. Then the fans on both of them start to make kind of a grinding noise that is not pleasant. I contacted the company directly, and they were great about replacing both of them at no cost to me. The replacements both worked great for a couple of months, but now they are both beginning to make the grinding noise again. I have since decided to start looking for an alternative white noise machine that I do not have to worry about replacing every six months. I did love them for both of my kids while they worked, but unfortunately something must wear out fairly quickly to cause the noise in all four machines.

Louder and lighter (travel friendly)
This thing outperforms the previous 2 models from the same manufacturer. The original was still the best in my opinion until I got this one. So far it is a major upgrade, it’s considerably louder and lighter, making it easier to move around and travel with. No data on durability yet as I have only had it a little while.

UPDATED 3/14- SECOND sound machine that has stopped working.
UPDATE *** I reached out to YogaSleep and they promptly got back to me and offered to replace both machines. Their customer service is excellent and I will forever be a yoga sleep customer. The sound of this machine far exceeds the Hatch Rest and is much more peaceful.I LOVED the sound of the dohm yogasleep. It has more dimension than a lot of the other sound machines out there, and the nightlight was perfect when we needed it. I had one in our nursery for our son, and one in our room. After only 6 months of use, the sound machine in our sons room has stopped working. Thinking it was a faulty machine, I took the one from our room, and replaced the one in the nursery. That also has stopped working. Literally within a week of one another both of these machines have stopped working. The nighlight is still working on both, but the fan will not power on. I am so disappointed that after spending $140 on both of these, I can no longer use either of them. I would not waste your money on this item. It’s fantastic for a few months, and then stops working. I will not buy another one of these.

I bought this because we have a tenant in our basement who is loud at night; he constantly coughs and clears his throat, will cook and watch TV late into the night, and has loud conversations on the phone, all of which we can hear through our floors and vents. This noise machine has been a sanity saver. It blocks out his noises and truly helps me sleep. I love that the fan speed is adjustable so depending on how loud he is, I can adjust the speed of the fan.Edited to add I love the night light on it as well.
